"IT'S OFFICAL. Tsuzura is a love-sick idiot." Rei says as we watch Tsuzura stare off into the sunset. We had been sitting in my bedroom --Rei and I on my bed and Tsuzura in the window seat-- after agreeing to hang out, and Tsuzura literally hasn't responded to a thing we've asked her.
We even started talking about watching lesbian porn and still, nothing.
"I mean, at least she's finally on track to getting rid of her house pet status."
"True."
"Which reminds me," I turn towards Rei and grasp her hands "why don't you want me to pay off your debt? it would really be no trouble. I know that technically speaking we aren't allowed to pay off other peoples debts, as per one of the presidents new rules, but we could have some stupid Rock Paper Scissors game where I tell you what I'm gonna choose. That way, you'll win the money and pay back your debt."
"You don't have to do that Estuko."
"You didn't answer the question, Rei."
"And there's a reason why I didn't. So can you please not ask again? I'll tell you just not today."
"Whatever you say. I'll always be here for you."

TSUZURA, REI, AND I HAD a habit of all riding together to school. My parents had a driver who was more than willing to stop by their houses and pick them up. Rei would always bring some breakfast made by her mother (who was a really good cook), and we all ate on the way to school.
"Are you excited to see Mary, Tsuzura?" Rei asks and Tsuzura squeals.
"Yes! I haven't been more excited than I am right now!"
"That could never be me," I say, chuckling.
"Oh you just wait."
"yeah, and what about you Rei?"
"You know that no one would want me, Estuko."
"You know that's not true."
"Well the two of you know--" it was then that the drive slammed on his breaks. Making us all jolt forward.
"Sorry ladies! I didn't mean to hit the breaks so hard. Some kids don't understand what a side walk is."
"it's alright. Don't even worry about it." a couple seconds later we come to a more light stop.
"Here you go, girls. Have a good day at school."
"Thank you Mr. Rich!" The three of us say in unison before getting out of the car.
