Toni's POV
"Can you please sing me a Taylor swift song?" Makalya begged.
"I'm tired." I replied as I flopped down onto my couch after performing a gig at the local.
"Please Toni! I mean you have an amazing voice but you can't even sing my favorite artist's song to me."
"Can't you just listen to her on Spotify?" I questioned as I lifted my head up from the pillow it was stuffed in.
"No.. and it's not like I can go to one of her concerts! There's way too many swifties nowadays and it's expensive as fuck!"
"Fine.. but I'll only sing a mashup with my song."
"Last kiss."
"No no it's 6 minutes give me another."
"Fine I'll play enchanted."
"Alright." I responded as I got my guitar and opened up the lyrics and started strumming the keys with my pic.
There I was again tonight
Forcing laughter, faking smiles
Same old tired, lonely place
Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy
Vanished when I saw your face

The playful conversation starts

I finally looked up and noticed that Makayla was recording me unlike usual but I didn't mind.

I finished the song and Makayla started to applaud.
"You're welcome." I smiled as she put her phone down.
"Thank you!" She cheered as she picked her phone back up.
"I'm posting this on Instagram by the way!" She replied.
"No!" I yelled.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because."
"Because you don't like Taylor swift?" Makayla asked.
"I never said that."
"You don't have to say it, it's obvious."
"I'm just not like a swiftie swiftie if that makes sense."
"At least you don't hate her."
"Hey don't get me wrong she's a great artist and her lyrics are phenomenal but I'm not a full on swiftie.. like I can't name all her songs like that."
