Wedding Day Disasters

The day of Paige's wedding

Flashback.........................................

Paige really thought someone would have cared enough to help her escape. All her life all people ever did was leave.

She always kept her guard up but when it came to her sisters she really wanted to be accepted. She craved that sisterhood that they shared.

This isn't at all how she imagined her wedding as a child.

 She always thought her mom and dad would be there and she would marry Glen with all of her friends by her side. 

Of course, life always has to get in the way.

She had to separate from her friends since they weren't supportive of her when she went to rehab for alcohol.

Glen is traveling the world and even though she loved him, she knew they could never be happy together.

Her parents died in a car accident that she should have died in too, but her powers saved her.

 Sometimes she wished she hadn't of orbed out of the car. 

Her life has been a mess ever since.

She let her thoughts get the best of her. She realized she had been sitting in front of the mirror for 45 minutes.

Roman's mom came in to see her causing her to get out of her own head. 

She met Roman's mom the day she had seen Cole. Roman wanted the two of them to meet.

 Romans mother Cynthia was a beautiful woman will long ginger hair. Her eyes were green, and she was wearing a long pink gown that really brought out her curves and height. Cynthia was such a sweet woman. She seemed very caring, and she could tell Cynthia loved Roman.

 Paige confided in her about everything she went through with her sisters and Cynthia listened to every detail. 

It really made Paige miss her own mom.

"You okay there sweetheart? She asked Paige. 

Paige didn't realize she had zoned out again.

"Yes ma'am. I'm sorry I was just distracted. Do I look okay?" 

Cynthia smiled at her. 

"Honey, you look gorgeous! My son really cares about you. I hope you know that. Trust me this isn't an ideal situation, but he really does love you."

In this moment Paige was grateful for her future mother-in-law.

"You know. I was in your situation years ago before Roman was born. I was a witch and I tried to always do good and save people. Until I met Roman's father Damien. I gave up everything for him, my life, my family, my future. I lost it all, so I had nothing to go back to. After serving the source for years, he had gotten the opportunity to either come back to Roman and I, and we could live our lives here or he could become mortal and live a normal life. He chose a normal life and left us behind after I gave everything up for him."

Paige couldn't help but feel sympathy for her. She really loved Damien and he just left her knowing she had no one left.

"If you don't mind me asking.... why did you keep dating demons after I mean weren't you scared of that happening again?" Paige had to ask.

"Because when people are powerful, they crave more and more of it. The higher up you're ranked the less likely you are to want to leave. I stick with them because I know they won't go anywhere." Cynthia replied with a sad smile.
