Sisters by chance

Baby Steps

"I think we should talk." Piper said
"I know." Leo replied sitting down.
Silence filled the room before Piper broke it.
"I can't keep doing this. Everytime I need you the most you're just pulled away. What if that wasn't just Paige and it was our daughter?" Piper said feeling her eyes starting to water.
"That wouldn't happen Piper. I want my family more than anything in the world." Leo said
"But do you really? Sometimes I feel like you choose the elders and your other charges over us." Piper said
"How can you even say that? I love my family. I have you and Melinda. That's all I want. Sometimes I feel like you choose your sisters over me." Leo said getting defensive.
"But that's not all your going to get. Your constantly pulled in different directions all the time. My sisters and I fight constantly to stay alive. We need each other." Piper said starting to raise her voice.
"Well what's any different then you being busy with demon vanquishing?" Leo said raising his voice.
"I don't choose to be a witch Leo!" Piper said crying.
"I didn't ask to be a whitelighter either! But I'm thankful I get to help others and I don't complain constantly like you do. Sometimes I feel like telling the elders you don't deserve your powers!" Leo said.
"After all the innocents my sisters and I have helped? How can you say that?" Piper yelled.
"Your ungrateful. You and I have both been blessed with gifts and you constantly complain about it." Leo said calmer than before.
"I just think we need time apart." Piper said quietly letting her tears fall.
"If that's what you want then I respect that." Leo said standing up.
He gave Melinda a kiss before orbing away.
Piper couldn't take being alone in the house. She decided to call her sisters to come back. Phoebes phone went straight to voicemail.
Luckily Prue answered and Andy orbed her back right away.

Back at the apartment.
"Paige please tell me how your feeling. I promise it will make you feel better." Andy said trying to convince Paige to open up.
"I don't want to talk Andy. Now please leave." Paige said with her head in a pillow.
"Sorry but I'm not leaving. I'm your whitelighter now. I won't let anything happen to you." Andy said
Paige picked her head up and looked at him.
"Your my whitelighter?" Paige asked
"Yes. The elders think you need some extra support right now." Andy said
"Oh great....they feel sorry for me." Paige said sarcastically.
"Paige please talk to me." Andy said sincerely.
Paige finally gave in.
"Fine but you can't tell anyone." Paige said
"I won't. I promise." Andy said kneeling infront of her.
Paige sighed.
"I don't know. Ever since I lost the baby I haven't been myself. I mean Roman really seemed to love me. I think I loved him a little bit too. All the guilt and sadness just won't go away. We are just so busy all the time with demons. I always say I don't have time to grieve but if I'm being honest I don't even know where to start." Paige said taking deep breaths.
"Well let me help you start. What's something you want to do in her memory? What makes you think of her?" Andy asked
"I don't know. I was thinking about getting a tattoo or something eventually." Paige said
"Well then let's go." Andy said
"Right now?" Paige asked
"Yeah? Why not?" Andy said
"Well because- I guess your right let's go." She agreed.
The two of them arrived at the tattoo shop. Thankfully nobody was there to recognize Andy. The lady at the front desk looked at the two of them.
"Who's getting the tattoo?" She asked
"Me." Paige said
"What design are your picturing?" The lady asked
"Um I want to get my daughter's birthday and name tattooed." Paige said
"Okay. Let me go talk to the artist and I'll be right back." She said getting up.
"You didn't want an in loving memory tattoo?" Andy asked
"No I don't want to think of it as a loss. I want to honor her." Paige said.
"What was her name gonna be?" Andy asked
" Presley Jade Edwards." Paige said with a sad smile.
"I like it." Andy said
The lady came back out.
"Okay here is a form you have to fill out. And I'm going to write the information for the artist."
Paige took the form and nodded.
"Okay what's your daughters name?" The lady asked
"Presley." Paige said
"Do you just want the first name?" She asked
"Umm I think I'll do the middle too. Her middle name is Jade. " Paige said
"Okay and birthdate?" She asked
"July 25th 2002." Paige said
"Oh my gosh! You just had a baby three months ago! You look amazing." The lady said smiling.
"Um thanks." Paige said looking at Andy nervously.
"The artist is ready for you." She said
Paige and Andy both got up and walked to the back.

Phoebe arrived back at the manor after another awesome date with Jason. He asked her to move in. She was put on the spot and agreed but was questioning if it was the right decision.
She walked in the living room to see Piper and Prue cuddling. She walked over to the arm chair and sat.
"How was your date?" Piper asked
"It was good. He asked me to move in though." Phoebe said with a sigh
"Are you?" Prue asked
"I said yes but I'm questioning myself now.I like him a lot but moving in is a huge step." Phoebe said unsure.
"Well you always have a place here. You too Prue. Paige also." Piper said
"Thanks." Prue and Phoebe said at the same time.
Finally Paige orbed in. Phoebe held her arms out and Paige walked to the chair and wrapped her arms around Phoebe.
"I'm sorry for the way I treated you guys." Paige said.
"Oh honey it's okay. Your going through something." Prue said
"I know but it's no excuse to be a bitch." Paige said
"Have you talked to Kyle anymore?" Piper asked.
"Nope." Paige answered
"Are we all just having guy problems or what?" Piper asked
"Not me." Prue said with a smile earning a smack on the head from Piper and a growl from Phoebe.
"You got yourself a keeper Prue." Paige said
"You think?" Prue asked
"Yeah. He helped me a-lot today. He helped me make a few steps today. They're baby steps but it's progress." Paige said
"Well I'm glad. I hate to say it but I'm so grateful I don't have to go through what you guys are going through." Prue said.
