Roman examined all of Paige's wounds and helped her clean them all up.

Both of them went back to their room.

Paige climbed into bed and Roman laid down next to her and stared into her eyes before taking a deep breath.

"I really do love you. I know it's been a short time. I was worried I had done something to make you want to leave. The last time I felt like that was when my dad left us. I don't want any secrets between us. So I want to be honest with you. Please don't hate me......I told you my mother was married to an upper level demon and I didn't get along with him. What I didn't tell you is that she's actually married to the source. Since he's married to my mother if anything were to happen to him it would become my job to take over. I hope you understand if that happens.....you end up in a position of power."

Paige had to admit she was freaked out. She knew now she could never leave. She didn't even want to think about what they could do to her.

Paige knew she could never go home.

This was the life she had to stick with.

"I understand. I love you and I want to be with you." she replied with a smile. Roman leaned in and kissed her lips.

Paige could feel her heart racing. She had this feeling in her stomach. She didn't know if it was because she was anxious. But it didn't seem like a bad feeling.

Was it butterflies ? Seemed like it.

Roman pulled back and looked her up and down.

He smiled at her before kissing her again.

She woke up the next morning and looked to see Roman lying next to her asleep.

She couldn't help but think this life wasn't so bad.

No demons were attacking her, no sisters, no drama, and for once she didn't feel alone.

Meanwhile at the manor

Phoebe had come downstairs to see Piper was already up.

"You couldn't sleep either?" Phoebe asked her older sister.

Piper looked defeated.

"No, I dosed off a few times."

Phoebe scanned the room.

"Where's Leo?"

Piper rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Who knows.... he kept getting called between other charges and the elders. I mean every time I got comfortable, I would get woken up with bright blue lights and the bed moving."

Phoebe could tell her sister was frustrated.

"Did the elders say anything useful? They normally don't call too early in the morning unless it's important."

Piper sat across from her and took a sip of her coffee. Finally, after a few seconds of silence she said.

"He wouldn't tell me anything. He said they didn't say anything important."

Suddenly a demon appeared in front of them and threw Phoebe up against the oven.

Piper jumped up and tried to freeze him and he wouldn't freeze.
