I Feel Numb

When he orbed in they knew just by his body language that he had bad news.
"The Elders took Paige." He said nervously.
Prue looked at her boyfriend in shock.
"What? Why?" Piper asked right away.
"Many reasons. Paige is still very vulnerable but now she's about to be investigated. Her ex boyfriend who knows way too much about her could use a lot as ammo. She still needs to be monitored. Cynthia will stop at nothing to get to her. However she can and will come down and visit when she pleases. Paige agreed and knew it was best for her." Andy knew he was lying but he was putting his trust in the elders for once.
"What about the Power of four?" Phoebe asked
"Your back to being the Power of three." Andy said.
All three sisters glared at him. So he quickly clarified.
"For now."

Meanwhile up in the heavens.
"Let me go! You bitch!" Paige screamed at the old elder.
"Paige I just need you to cooperate!" The elder said trying to reason with her.
"Absolutely not! Your not putting me in that ugly ass robe!" Paige screamed.
The elders looked offended.
Gideon an elder that Paige had only met a few times before walked up to her.
"You will see what we see! You will see we do things for the greater good! You will learn respect!" He said
"You will learn to get your hands off me!" Paige screamed elbowing the elder who was holding her.
Gideon looked at the others.
"I'll take care of her." He said.
The rest of the elders walked away. Gideon grabbed Paige by the arm and yanked her towards him.
A yellow light shined from his hand and he hovered it over Paige's head. She instantly calmed down. He snapped his finger and a robe magically appeared over her clothes. She got up and joined the rest of the elders. She only cared about the greater good. She no longer thought about Kyle, Her sisters, The power of four, or even her baby. She liked this numb feeling she had.

At the manor the girls were still concerned.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Prue said
"Me too!" Phoebe said
"Me three!"added Piper
Andy hated to admit it but he had a bad feeling too. He didn't want to scare the girls though.
"Andy can you please try and sense her? I want to make sure she's okay." Prue said
Andy closed his eyes. He could sense Paige.
It's like she wasn't feeling anything though. Like she was there but had no feeling. This just confused him.
"She's okay. I'm still sensing her." Andy said
"Well what's she feeling? Is she scared or hurt?" Piper asked.
"No. Well actually I don't know. She's not feeling anything right now." Andy said
"Nothing?" Phoebe said
"No it's like blank." Andy said
"See! That's weird. I'm calling for her!" Prue said
"Paige! Paige! Paige?" Prue said ending up confused.
Paige orbed in with a serious face. She was wearing an elder robe. Her hair was all neat.
Phoebe ran over to hug her but Paige didn't hug back.
"Oh Paige! They put you in one of those ugly robes?" Phoebe asked joking
"That's disrespectful. It is an honor to be wearing this robe. It symbolizes my destiny to help the greater good." Paige said sounding angry.
Everyone's demeanor changed. It was almost like they were talking to a stranger. The silence went on and on before Paige had enough.
" You called." Paige stated seriously .
Phoebe was hurt by her reaction.
"Yeah we did. Are you okay?" Piper asked stepping closer.
"Yes." Paige said
"Are they letting you come back?" Phoebe asked
"No there's no need." Paige said monotoned.
"Why not?" Prue asked sternly
"Because I have a new destiny that awaits for me." Paige said
"Woah. First off you never talk like that. Second your destiny is here with us!" Prue said
"No it's not. I'm not needed here anymore." Paige said
"Paige don't be ridiculous! We need you here for the power of four! Plus Hello? Your our sister we need you." Phoebe said.
"No you don't. You, Piper and Prudence can handle things on your own." Paige said.
"Prudence?" Prue asked
"Well that is your name." Paige said
"Paige please. We need you here!" Phoebe said
Paige didn't say anything. She decided she wasn't repeating this conversation again. She was about to orb out as Piper hugged onto her tightly.
"Paige don't leave! I need you here! Your the only one that understands! Remember what we talked about earlier. We had planned for you to move back in so that Prue and Andy could live together and Phoebe could move in with Jason. Paige you were so excited! We can be close again please. I love you! I need my sister!" Piper balled her eyes out. Clearly still feeling a lot of the emotion she expressed earlier.
Prue and Phoebe couldn't believe how emotionless Paige was.
"You guys better go to sleep it's very late." Paige said
"Paige. We love you." Phoebe said as her little sister got ready to orb out.
Paige just orbed out without a word.
Leo turned to the girls.
"They've turned her into an elder. They've made her numb so her emotions don't get in the way of her seeing their vision." Leo said
"Will we get her back?" Piper asked
"I think so. Paige loves you guys. She'll be back." Leo said
"Ugh I'm having flashbacks to the last time she was taken from us." Phoebe said
"I mean are we really that bad? Why does she always choose something else over us." Piper asked
"I think she's right about one thing. We all need sleep." Prue said

Andy and Prue orbed back to the apartment.
Phoebe went to her room.
Piper went to the attic and Leo went with her.
"Have you been staying in the heavens?" Piper asked
"Yes. I have." Leo said
"Can you please just keep and eye on her for me?" Piper asked
"Of course." Leo said before orbing away.
Piper decided to go ahead a start a new page on the book of shadows of Roman and Cynthia.
"What was his last name?" Piper asked herself
"Edwards" she heard a voice behind her.
Cynthia walked over to the book.
"Aww an entire page dedicated to me?" Cynthia said
Piper felt a shiver down her spine.
