Little Things That Matter

It had been two months since the incident. Nobody had heard from Paige. Prue couldn't sense her. Piper tried every spell in the book. Phoebe and Cole were back together. Roman and Cole were still on work calls. Luckily for Paige she gets to stay home now.
Chandler and Cynthia had stepped down meaning Paige and Roman had quietly taken over. They no longer live in the underworld. Romans old lair has been taken over by Cole. The married couple bought a three story house about 40 minutes away from the manor and 10 minutes away from both of their works.

Paige's Pov:
Roman trusts me enough to go back to my normal life. I'm back as a social worker. Roman has now taken a "cover" job as a firefighter. I get to go back to my apartment when I want. But I only go when I know Prue isn't there. I don't want to face her. I leave her little notes here and there. I can feel Piper trying to call me. I can hear her cries. I know Leo's probably worried. Phoebe took Cole back. Cole lied to her and told her I was too far gone and dangerous. He said he was their only hope to protect them and Piper believed him. He said he gave up his powers. Little do they know he's my husbands right hand man.. but it's not my problem. My powers have been amplified. Unfortunately if I get angry enough I turn into my hideous form. I can shoot lightning from my hands. Sometimes on purpose but mostly on accident.
I can't use my witch or whitelighter powers anymore. Guess I really am too far gone as Cole says. Sadly I've been angry a lot lately. I'm stressed out. Cynthia made this queen shit look so easy.....it's not. I deal with idiots all day. They can't get a simple job done! I've been having really bad mood swings lately. I feel weak and tired and it's frustrating! Roman has changed. He used to be super caring. Now he took the sources power and sometimes I don't even recognize him. He's so sweet 50% of the time and then the other 50% is just pure....evil.

Roman came into the house.
"Honey?" he said
"Yes?"
"Have you seen or talked to Cole?" He asked his wife.
Paige walked into the living room.
"No. I haven't seen him. Why?"
She then grabbed onto the fireplace.
"Woah." She said trying to gain her balance.
Roman ran over to her and helped her to the couch.
He looked at Paige's paler than usual face.
"Are you okay?" He asked kneeling infront of her.
Paige sighed.
"Yeah I'm okay. Just a little nauseous. Why?"
"Why? Because you almost fell down and you don't look good." He said
"That's harsh." She said with a hurt look.
"No I mean you look sick. But your obviously still beautiful." He said
Roman kissed her on the forehead
"Also I'm asking because you've killed eight of our servants today. 5 yesterday. You've been very snippy lately."
Paige kissed his lips.
"I know I'm sorry. Everyone is gonna think I'm a even bigger bitch than your mom." She laughed.
Roman smiled back at her
"They already do" he replied
Paige's smiled faded
"Oh"

Roman changed the subject
"I know it's asking a lot but can you please go get Cole? Try to avoid your sisters."
"Sure." She replied

She shimmered out and into the manor.
She seen Piper was fighting a higher level demon on her own. Paige watched as she was screaming for Leo but he never came. Piper was hurt and was going to die if she didn't do something. Paige waved her hand and the demon burnt to the ground. Piper seen her sister and started to yell for Leo even louder.
Her screaming was killing Paige's ears.
"Piper you've called him 20 times and he hasn't come! Stop yelling damn it!"
Piper stopped and backed away.
"Look Piper I'm not here to hurt you. I'm looking for Cole ."
Pipers nerves calmed. She looked at her sisters appearance. She looked terrible.
"What do you need Cole for? He gave up his powers."
Paige laughed out loud.
"Okayy." She said sarcastically.
Piper gave her a confused look.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Paige smiled evilly.
"Nothing Nothing. You'd never believe me anyway. I'm evil remember. Not to rush this but where is he?"
Piper walked closer to Paige. She surprisingly felt safe around her evil little sister.
"He and Phoebe went for lunch." Piper replied.
"I'll wait." Paige answered quickly looking around.
Piper didn't know what to say to her.
Paige took the lead.
"Let's get these cuts cleaned up." She pulled her older sister towards the bathroom. Paige helped bandage up her wounds until Leo could heal her. They walked downstairs neither one of them saying a word.
"Umm I'm about to make a sandwich. Want one?" Piper asked trying to break the ice.
Paige shrugged.
"Why not? After-all I saved your ass"
Paige laughed and followed Piper closely to the kitchen.
Paige sat down at the table while Piper started to make the sandwiches.
Piper took out the bread and looked up at Paige.
"Why did you save me?" She asked.
Paige rolled her eyes. She didn't want to admit she still cared.
"If I didn't nobody else would have. If you died then who would protect Phoebe from Cole?"
Piper looked up trying to read her face.
"That's the second time you've made a comment like that. What should I know?"
Paige looked around and motioned for Piper to come closer. Piper did as she was told and just as Paige was about to whisper something to her Leo orbed in.
"Piper! What's she doing here? She's dangerous!" Leo said grabbing Piper and pulling her away.
Paige laughed at his stupidity.
"If I wanted to kill her I would have when I got here and she was all alone fighting a demon. Nobody came to help her. Some whitelighter you are!"
Leo looked at Piper who gave him an annoyed look.
"She's right." Piper muttered.
"I was in a meeting with the elders. But seriously why is she here she's still dangerous?"
Piper opened her mouth to answer but Paige cut her off.
"I came to have lunch with my dear sister. Is that too much to ask?" She looked at Leo's confused face.
"Actually I'll add. I'm here for Cole. If you think I'm dangerous for visiting. The biggest danger is in your house at night while you're sleeping. Is my sandwich done yet?" She looked at Piper who had just cut it in half. Piper brought it over to her.
Paige gave it a funny look before shimmering away.
Piper sighed.
"I know I threw it together quickly but it's not that bad." She said sitting down across from where Paige was sitting. Leo picked up half the sandwich and got ready to take a bite before Paige shimmered back in and smacked his hand.
"Get your own!"
She said before she snatched it back and sat across from Piper who had an amused expression.
