A Cry for Help

Roman and Cole had a meeting with Cynthia and the source. That left Paige alone to think about everything that's been going on.
She needed to talk to someone.
"Prue." She whispered
Prue orbed in shocked her sister actually called her. She took in Paige's appearance. Her little sister looked sick like overly dehydrated.
"What's wrong Paige?" She walked over and sat beside her.
"I killed an innocent. "
Prue looked at her sister shocked. Before she could say anything Paige cut her off.
"There's more..... I almost slept with Cole."
Paige was trying to read her sisters face. Prue showed no emotion. Paige sighed before continuing.
"The current source is about to step down due to health issues. Roman, Cole and I are about to take over."
Prue sighed
"Paige this is a lot to take in. Your gonna have to explain. Let's start with the innocent first. What happened?"
Paige was avoiding Prue's gaze
"They didn't tell me where we were going. We appeared in an alleyway and Cole and Roman already had a plan. There was this family who's car had started having issues so the father was under the hood trying to find the problem. Cole offered to help. Roman stole the man's soul and the wife got out with a gun and before I knew it I had appeared behind her and clawed her. I couldn't stand the thought of her hurting Roman."
Prue gave her sister a sad smile.
"Oh that's the family of three I seen that was on the news this morning?"
Paige looked at Prue
"Family of four"
Prue gave her sister a confused look.
"Four?"
Paige explained
"There was a little girl in the backseat too. Neither Cole or Roman seen but she teleported from backseat to behind a dumpster. I want to know that she's okay."
Prue looked around for a few seconds
"Paige I don't know where to find her."
"I do." Paige said quietly
"As we shimmered away I seen Leo orb in. I have a feeling she's with the sisters but I want to be sure. Can you go check?"
"I don't know how much time we have to talk. I don't want to waste any time. I'll just call him." Prue said quickly.
"Leo!" She said loudly
Paige was nervous Prue was gonna get them caught.
"Shhhh"
Prue looked around hoping nobody heard her.
"Sorry. Leo come here it's safe."
Leo orbed in and seen Prue and Paige. He couldn't help but notice Paige looked like hell.
"What's up?" He asked right away.
"Paige wants to know that the little girl in the car is safe."
Leo looked shocked before replying
"You knew about the girl? You didn't try and kill her?"
Paige just shook her head. Leo could tell Paige was struggling.
"She's safe. She's with your sisters. What happened?"
She explained to him what had happened in the alleyway. He was confused.
"You actually love him? I mean you love him enough to kill someone over him?"
Paige was getting frustrated because she didn't understand it herself.
"I don't know why I did it. It was like I couldn't control my actions."
She looked at Leo who was the only one standing up.
"Can you get me a water from the fridge?"
Leo opened the refrigerator and seen the gallon of green stuff and asked Paige
"What is this stuff? It looks disgusting."
Paige turned to see what he was pointing to.
"That's a hangover cure that Romans mother made me because I was sick."
Leo got closer to it and looked back at Paige.
"I don't think this is just a hangover cure. Have you noticed anything weird after you drink it?"
Paige had to think.
"No I haven't......Actually both me and Cole drank some of it and we almost slept together. I've never felt that way about him. Maybe it's because of the hangover cure."
Prue sighed
"Can we stop calling this a hangover cure! It's clearly a potion. Leo can you take some of it back and see if the girls can figure out what's in it? "
Leo finally brought Paige her water and poured some of the potion in a cup before orbing out.
Paige then turned to Prue waiting for her to say something.
"Paige I hate to ask you this. I know it's an invasion of privacy but with the potion acting the way it does I think my question is valid. Have you slept with Roman?"
Paige was uncomfortable
"I mean he is my husband so yes I have"
Prue gave her a disappointed look before asking.
"Did you use protection?"
Paige looked down.
"No.....it's like I couldn't control myself long enough to think."
Prue decided to change the subject slightly.
"So you and Cole almost slept together?"
Paige gave Prue a nervous look
"I would never do that to Phoebe! We just made out due to whatever was in the potion. That's all! Roman broke it up. If Phoebe found out she'd kill me." Paige said with tears.
Prue pulled her in a for a hug
"I won't tell her. But you did slip up in front of Leo. Hopefully they understand the potion is the problem."
Paige nodded.
Prue looked down at her sister
"Okay. Now let's talk about the source situation . What's up with that?"
Paige threw her head back against the back of the couch.
"Roman is the sources stepson. Chandler had a heart attack and will be stepping down soon. Roman will be taking over. I'll be the new queen."
Prue was disappointed. Not in Paige just the situation.
"Paige we have to get you out of here beforehand. If you go through with this I might never get you back."
Paige nodded. She knew Prue was right.
Prue had more questions.
"I thought Cole was supposed to be good now? He's still running around killing people."
Paige shrugged
"He's been hanging out down here since I've been here so I guess not. Now Phoebe broke up with him. He'll be down here more."
Prue was shocked
"Phoebe broke up with him? Why?"Prue asked.
Paige drank her water
"He cheated on her."
Prue could sense evil coming closer.
"Paige I have to go. I love you."
She gave Paige and kiss on the forehead before orbing away.
