The room was freezing cold.

My eyelids were achingly heavy. They would not open no matter how hard I had tried. They officially glued shut.

My body had felt numb. I couldn't move at all. My arms, hands, legs, ass, and every other aspect of my body was frozen.

It was as if I was paralyzed.

I felt beads of sweat flowing down my forehead as I struggled to open my eyes and move my body. I was starting to become really scared and afraid.

What is this happening to me?

My eyeballs were moving but the eyelids shut tight. I struggled furiously some more before finally giving up to take a bit of a break.

I was just stuck there like a shell, unable to do anything.

This feeling was awful.

I moved my eyeballs for a bit longer until I heard a door open. I then had felt a warm hand wrap around mines.

"Minyoung-ah, sorry I haven't been visiting you very much. It's already been a year," I heard some old female voice. "Won't you wake up now?" I heard her say.

Minyoung?

Is she talking to me?

Minyoung.

Is that my name?

Suddenly when she picked up my hand to kiss it. I felt an electric surge through my fingers. It was able to move along side of her hand.

"Minyoung? Are you awake? Can you hear me?" The lady asked me. I was really curious now. I struggled hard to open my eyes. I wanted to see. Was I blind?

I got a hold of my hands so they were able to move alongside of the lady's hand and after a bit more of struggling, I then finally was able to open my eyes.

I could see now. The blinding light that shined when I opened my eyes, was awfully bright. It hurted my eyes and distracted me from the women.

"MINYOUNG! You're awake! It's a miracle," the lady cried out. I could see her now but I had no idea who she was nor who I was.

The lady started to cry and squeeze onto my hand. Some more people I didn't know came into the room.

They had the look of relief and happiness on their faces. An old man and a young boy that looked around 15 years old.

"Minyoung-ah," the boy stepped closer to me.

After a bit of struggling, I was able to move my mouth but it was hard to control it. I couldn't speak perfectly until around the 7th try.

I was able to ask him, "excuse me...but who are you?"

The three had a shock expression almost immediately on their faces. The lady got into my view and said,"do you remember me?" I shook my head. "Him?" She pointed to the man. I shook my head again. "Oh my! My dear Minyoung."

The smiles and reliefs that were on their faces were now replaced with shock and worry.

...

The man had gone outside and had come back with a lady. She had an uniform on. A nurse. Was I at a hospital? Are these patient's clothing I am wearing right now?

The nurse asked, "do you remember anything?"

I did oddly.

It was a boy yelling, "Minyoung-ah! Watch out!" He ran towards me but that's it. I don't remember the rest.

That's the only thing I could remember before waking up.

When I told her this, she asked, "do you remember who that boy is?"

After a bit of silence I said, "I don't."

I was then asked to stand up and to get a scan but when I tried to get up and stand I ended up falling back. My feet just gave up on me. My legs were really weak. Heck, my whole body was.

They had gotten me onto a wheel chair which I was thankful for since I could at least be moved around without really struggling or hurting myself.

The scanning went pretty bad I guess. The nurse told the young boy to roll me out while they talked to the man and the women.

"Hey Minyoung?" The boy asked.

"Uh yes," I replied.

"Do you really not remember me?" The boy asked. I answered by shaking my head, which I had seemed to be doing a lot. "Huh. I'm a bit sad you could forget your one and only brother but I'm still glad you're awake Minyoung-ah."

"You're my brother?" I asked.

"Yep and that lady and man are our parents," the boy explained. "Do you remember our names?"

I shook my head and said, "I don't even remember mines."

"Minyoung, that's your name," so that's why everyone been calling that. "My name is Taeyoung and we are the Lee family," the boy explained some more.

"Oh," I simply replied. "How old are you?"

"I'm 14 and if you're wondering you're 19," Taeyoung answered.

I thought I was older to be honest. I looked horrible right now. My hair looked absolutely awful. It was so long and oily. It probably smelled bad too. "How'd I get into a coma?" I then asked Taeyoung.

"A car accident. It was quite severe. You could've died if it wasn't for B-" the boy didn't finish and changed the subject. "Speaking of that, do you remember Baekhyun?"

I shook my head. I think the boy, I mean my brother was about to explain who he was but then the nurse and my parents had came out.

The nurse had explained that I had been in a coma for about a year and that I had lost my memories, that could or could not come back but since I remembered something, it was most likely only temporary.

They told me I was going to be hospitalized for quite awhile.

This was where I was going to get my life back, they said. I was going to learn how to walk again and just be able to live again but the most important thing I wanted to do was to remember.

I wanted to remember what happened to me. I wanted to remember everything.

This empty brain was killing me of curiosity.

I wanted to know who I was but the only thing I could remember before I woke up was a boy.

I don't remember his name. I can barely make out his face in my brain but he's the only memory I have of before.
