Katie tiptoes through her house, trying to escape without getting caught. She was at the front door when Amanda catches her.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?" Amanda presses.
"I was-um, uhhh... Going to walk my fish?" Katie says. Amanda puts her hand on her hip and points her towel at her, reminding Katie of Steve Harrington.
"Really? Katie we have guests over. You can't just be leaving. Why don't you hang out with Annie, she's currently being a third-wheel with your sister and Miguel." Amanda says.
"I know Mom, it's just," Katie takes a breath, "I've been so caught up with karate, that I haven't gotten my dress for Chrissy's wedding!" Katie exclaims. "And it's like in a couple of days!"
"Look, that should have been done a long time ago. But right no, you need to be with the family. This is the first dinner we're having with Johnny and the Diazes." Amanda says. "And you might want to change into something more presentable."
"Alright, fine. Katie says and slumps to upstairs to change out of her oversized hoodie and sweatpants. She quickly changes into her green cardigan and distressed jeans and combs through her hair which had become a bird's nest.
Quickly, she runs downstairs just in time to see Johnny and Anthony spewing words at each other.
"Who the hell are you?" Johnny asks and then Anthony scoffs. "Wait, are you the son? What did you do, switch to Whopper Juniors?"
Katie cracks up as Anthony then fires back, "It's called a growth spurt. Dipshit." And with that he walks away.
"Still a piece of crap." Johnny mumbles under his breath.
"Don't take anything about what Anthony said personally." Katie tells him, entering the kitchen. "He's basically an ass to everyone."
"Oh yeah?" Johnny says, scraping the rabe off of the pan with a spoon. Katie takes a coke out of the fridge before turning to him.
"You know, you're supposed to do that with a spatula." Katie tells him, tossing him on from the drawer.
"Yeah. I knew that." Johnny says, using the spatula. Katie rolls her eyes and smiles before going int the living room to talk with Annie.
"Wanna watch Insidious again?" Katie asks and Annie smiles.
"Why not." Annie says, getting off of the couch.

Katie was holding onto Annie's arm, her hand covering her eyes but she could still see through the spaces between her fingers.
"Holy shit!" Katie shrieks as there is another jump-scare in the movie.
"Oh god," Annie breathes out, terrified but her eyes don't leave the screen. The main song of the movie, TiptoeThrough The Tulips, begins to play and both girls get worried. That song usually meant another scare.
