Katie was back at home, in her room. The whole Cobra Kai attack on her and Hawk had just happened last night and she was still shaken up from it. She refused to talk to anyone and just stayed in her room all day.
Apart from that, at least she had taken the time to fix her hair, cutting it short, reaching below her chin and she even died a couple strands a light pink.
Katie gets up and takes a look at her reflection for what seemed like the hundredth time.
Her forehead had a nasty bruise along with her nose that held a bandage.
She couldn't believe those assholes at Cobra Kai. Especially Robby and Joey. Katie was still satly about what they had done to her, but mostly what they had done to Eli.
Oh Eli. Katie misses the boy, dearly. Everything was starting to get right back on track for the young teens until Cobra Kai happened. Who knew where they would end up now.

"This is the worst thing that could've happened." Johnny Lawrence shouts to his students, reading the new tournament rules.
"Skills competition, bullshit." He lists off and Annie rolls her eyes. "Kata isn't karate. It's dancing. What's this girls' division? You need 2 or more female fighters? Bullshit. Thought they were all about women's lib. They ought to man up and take a punch like the rest of us."
"Seriously dad," Annie says rolling her eyes.
"Sensei, it sounds like we could use some more female students." Miguel adds. "Sure, Annie's really skilled but, we still should have more."
"Fine." Johnny complains. "Do any of you know any girls?"
All of the boys look around, not knowing any girls.
"Of course you don't." Johnny sighs, annoyed.
"There's this girl from the debate team." Bert speaks up.
"Debate team? We need killers, not more nerds." Johnny remarks and makes them do laps. "Try not to breathe too much. There's black mold in the corner."
Annie and Miguel both look at each other before stepping up to him.
"Look, Sensei, I-I know things got heated at Miyagi-Do, but with these new changes, I think having Sam on our team would really help." Miguel says.
"Yeah, Katie and Spencer are really good fighters too." Annie adds. "Maybe if you talk to Mr. LaRu..."
"I have nothing to say to him. We're better off without him." Johnny cuts her off. "It's time for us to take care of our own business. We'll find some more girls, don't worry. All right, now get running."
Annie and Miguel sigh before going to do the laps.
