Katie awoke bright and early. Today was the day she was going to record her song. She quickly takes a nice, cold shower. Katie slips on a white tank top with a soft, light cloud cardigan on top, a pair of white destroyed jeans and her Crocs.
Before heading to the recording studio, Katie wants to go to the dojo and clean up a couple of last minute things.
When she gets to the dojo, she enters and hears someone already there.
"Joey, that you?" Katie asks, placing down her bag. Instead of seeing Joey, she saw the one and only Kreese.
"Ms. LaRusso," Kreese says, "Pleasure to finally meet you."
"Look, what the hell do you want?" Katie asks and crosses her arms.
"I come in peace, Katie. If I may call you that." Kreese says and Katie nods.
"Just here to look around at the dojo, cute place you got here." Kreese says.
"Look, you need to leave before I call the cops." Katie says taking out her phone.
"There's no need for that. I just wanted to give you an offer." Kreese says.
"Yeah, and what's that?" Katie asks.
"Join Cobra Kai and I will make you stronger than anyone else. This Miyagi-Do teaches good defense, sure. But in order to win a fight in the real world, you need offense. You'd be a great student and asset for Cobra Kai." Kreese explains and Katie scoffs.
"I'm sorry but are you seriously asking me to join Cobra Kai? Yeah, no, hard pass." Katie declines.
Suddenly, they both hear a voice. Daniel.
"Robby? I guess the early bird catches the worm..." Daniel trails off when he sees his daughter and Kreese.
"The hell you doing with my daughter?" Daniel asks, pushing Katie behind him.
"Nothing, I come in peace. Just giving her an offer." Kreese says, with a shrug. "It's a cute little place you got here. You teach karate, or gardening?"
"So, this is what it comes to? Harassing teens, breaking and entering?" Daniel says, furious.
"I'm just here to say thank you." Kreese says.
"Thank me for what?" Daniel asks.
"Well, taking our weakest soldiers from our ranks. That was kind." Kreese thanks.
"Soldiers... They're kids." Daniel spits.
"We were all kids, once." Kreese says. "You may think you got the best of Johnny Lawrence. But I promise you, this time, I won't let him lose."
"Lose what? This isn't war." Katie states.
"Sure it is, kid." Kreese looks to Katie. "War never ends. Peace is just the lull between battles. Did you really think you can attack Cobra Kai and there wouldn't be any consequences? You better hope that your students are ready. Because I promise you, ours will be."
He begins to leave and then looks at a portrait of Mr. Miyagi.
