"A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water."

― Eleanor Roosevelt

"You absolutely may not walk home with me," I say as I come to a complete stop, looking up at Shawn with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Why not?" Shawn says and grabs my wrist, pulling me gently towards the direction we were walking before.

"Because I don't want you here. That's why."

"Newsflash, baby doll: I don't care if you want me here or not." I continue walking and yank my wrist out of his hand, shoving it in my pocket. We walk in silence until we come across my street. "What's your favorite color?" Shawn asks as we turn the corner.

"I don't know. Why?"

"I'm just wondering. C'mon, everyone has a favorite color."

"Fine. A rainbow is my favorite color. Shows equality."

"That's beautiful."

"You know you can never walk me home again, right?"

"Doesn't mean it'll stop me."
