"Okay follow me" Hope told Josie, grabbing her by the waist.
"Wait but you're hurt"
"Doesn't matter" Hope said, swinging them to the hideout forgetting about the crutches.
What the hell is happening. First everything was perfect having the most amazing kiss of my life and now the whole city is full of big bloodlust lizards.
The door unlocked and they both entered, heading to the basement where they met the others with the help of Josie.
"Oh thank you universe you guys aren't lizards" Hope said, limping towards them and hugging all of them.
"Okay so you saw and I was hoping it was a dream" Blue mask said.
"Hey who's the lady?" Maggie asked and they all turned to Josie.
"Oh right guys this is Josie" Hope told them.
"Hi" She waved shyly.
"Oh my god!" pink mask shouts of excitement.
"Wait as in Josie Josie the Josie?" Maggie asked and Hope nodded.
"Oh my god!" normal mask squealed.
"No fucking way!" blue mask shouts.
"Wow I guess I'm popular" Josie teased Hope.
"Very, she doesn't stop talking about you," Blue mask said.
"Dude!" Hope shouts embraced.
"I'm filtered, you talk about me" Josie teased.
"Well it's great to finally meet our daughter in law" Normal mask said.
"Daughter in law?" Josie asked.
"Don't even ask," Hope replied.
"Wait, weren't you guys the robbers at the school trp?" Josie asked.
"Yes," Pink mask said.
"That makes sense," Josie said.
"What does?" Hope asked.
"Why they called me daughter in law is because you're their daughter. They're the first criminal you ever stop making them the beginning of your origin story. They made you who you are" Josie explained.
"No!" Hope sighed.
"See, she gets it," Blue Mask said.
"No you're meant to side with me" Hope told her.
"Yeah but like their future mother in law so I have to make a good impression" Josie bluntly says and that made Hope blush. How can someone just say it just like that dude is trying to kill me.
"I approve," pink mask said.
"Me too" they all agreed.
"Oh, shut up!"
"Out of curiosity who confessed first?" MG asked, intriguing all of them.
"What makes you so sure we confessed?" Hope asked.
"Well you guys are flustered and something has changed in the atmosphere" Normal mask answered."Besides mama knows all"
"I confessed first" Josie spoke and MG, Normal mask and Maggie jumped celebrating.
"Fifty dollars here we come," MG said.
"You suckers actually thought," Maggie said laughing.
"Wait, you guys bet on it and you three bet against me?" Hope asked slightly offended.
