Double Date

Spiderwoman swung to the police station, dropping off some bad guys.

"You're welcome" Spiderwoman told them, swinging away before they could say anything.

"Okay Hope that's it for today you can now go to your wife's house" Clarke said through the earpiece.

"What happened to the love of your life or wife in law?" Hope asked.

"Nothing, it's just that wife fits more" Clarke answered. "Also remember to pick up flowers on your way"

"Oh right thanks"

When Hope got out of her superhero costume she walked to Josie's house with the flower behind her. She knocked on the door and Caroline, the school's principal answered.

"Mrs. Forbes?" Hope asked, confused.

"Ah Hope come in, we were just talking about you and please call me Caroline here" Caroline basically pulled Hope inside.

She saw a group of people she had known when she was small from her parents and formJosie's father when they hung out together.

"So you must be the famous Hope Mikaelson Josie talks about?" Mr. Salvatore, not our teacher but his brother Stefan asked.

"I would like to think so," Hope jokes. Was that a good first impression?

"I like this one, you know," Stefan announced.

"Yeah, though she has a small bladder," Damon commented.

"Mr. Salvatore, always a pleasure" Hope fake smiled and he hummed.

"Look what I told you she's short" Lizzie spoke.

"You know I can hear you right," Hope told her.

"Oh you can from under there," Lizzie said, smirking. I am not even that short, I'm only 5 '3.

"Anyway it's a pleasure to meet Josie's girlfriends" Elena said and Hope smiled at the word girlfriend and Lizzie made a gag sound.

"Yeah it's been a while since we saw her happy. Love seeing that smile when she talks about you" Bonnie said.

"She talks about me?" Hope asked, smirking.

"Non stop" They all say which made her laugh. She talks about me!!!!! Josie came downstairs.

"What got you smiling like that?" She asked Hope who couldn't get the smile off her face.

"Oh apparently I'm a hoot to talk too" Hope answered

"What did you say!?" Josie asked them and they all raised their hands in defence.

"Nothing we didn't even get to the juicy part yet" Damon said and Josie blushed. What juicy part? Why did she act like that? Now I have to know.

"Oh I would love to hear that," Hope teased.

"No you won't" Josie quickly said, fluttering from embarrassment and Hope chuckled. Yeah I will definitely find out.

"Oh yeah that reminds me I got you this" Hope said handing her the flowers. Leaving out the fact that Clarke told me to get it, but thank you Clarke.

"Hope you didn't have too, thank you" Josie said kissing her on the cheek making Hope blush so much that her face may have turned red. Josie put the flower on a stand.

"Awe they look so cute!" Caroline whispered.

"We should get going there, probably waiting for us," Josie told her.

"Y-yes after you love" Hope stuttered, still dealing with the after effects of the kiss. Though they were too caught up in each other to see the disapproval glare Alaric sent them.

When they got to the arcade store they were meant with Kaleb and Cleo.

"Hey you guys finally made it I was thinking you were going to ditch us" Kaleb expressed.

"Us never I just met Josie family that's all" Hope explained.

"Wow, meeting the family is a huge step," Cleo teased.

"Yeah, well let's get this double date started" Hope said.

They went inside and brought snacks. They started talking about how they are ready for school and how things are going to be different for their senior year. Hope and Kaleb went to get the food. They turned around to see the girls they love laughing.

"Would you look at that I guess you got the girl" Kaleb spoke and Hope smiled.

"We both did," Hope told give going towards them.

They were walking around when Cleo, Josie, and Hope saw a stuffed animal dog wearing a firefighter costume.

"I want one" Cleo and Josie say and Hope came up with an idea.

"How about we do a race where whoever has the most tickets in the next thirty minutes gets to keep the stuffed animal," Hope suggested.

"Fine but what are the rules?" Kaleb asked.

"Easy when the time is over you stop and we'll be a combination of you and your partner's ticket other than that no rules" Hope answered.

"That seems fair when does it start?" Kaleb asked.

"Now" Hope said, grabbing Josie.

"You're definitely going to use your powers" Josie stated.

"Like I said love, no rules" Hope answered.

Hope used her powers to win the basketball game, the just dance, and the hockey game though none of that mattered to her as long as there was a smile on Josie's face. Especially when she got her first basket or when she scored a point in the hockey game. Hope eventually stopped playing and started watching her have fun.

That smile she could watch forever to her nothing mattered except for Josie and her smile, her laughter, her sparkling brown eyes, nothing in the world mattered except for her. To Hope the thirty minute passed like a second and the game was over they showed their tickets. Hope and Josie lost by one and Kaleb and Cleo took the stuffed animal.

"Well, it looks like you won," Hope said, smiling.

"Why do I have the feeling that I lost even though I won," Kaleb told her. Because you did. I got to watch the most amazing person smile all day.

After the double date Hope swung Josie into her bedroom on the second floor. The room was dark then suddenly came on and the person who put it on was no other than Lizzie.

"I knew it!" She shouts and they look at her.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Hope said.
