[Annika's POV]

New year. Back to school. New life.. I guess?

"Hi babe! Welcome back!"

"Hi KC! Hi Ivo!"

"Hello. :)"

I just got back from Cebu. Dun kami nagcelebrate ng new year. Umabsent rin ako for two weeks kasi sayang yung ticket at syempre dahil hindi pa ko ready pumasok. In fact, until now may hang over pa ko ng bakasyon. And of course, that time I was not sure if I am ready to see Joshua and Steff after the garden incident.

Pero as you can see now, the enthusiastic Annika is back. Well, not really like before, but at least I am trying. In admit, I still feel the pain. But I have to bring back my usual self.

"KC! Cafeteria tayo."

"Sure. Wait lang bebs ha."

"Sure. I'll wait for you here." sagot naman ni Ivo.

"For the love of mother nature! Quit calling each other bebs! Nakakailang! Nakakatawa, actually. Hahahaha. Kidding. Leggo, KC!"

So we headed to the cafeteria. I bought lots of food kasi boring yung Values Ed. Great way to start my day right? :P

"O____O Annika!"

"What?"

"D-depressed ka pa rin ba?"

"Hmm. Not much. Why?"

"Eh bakit ang dami mong pagkain?"

"Ah? Ito. Values Ed first subject eh. Sinadya kong hindi mabreakfast para sa VE time kumain. Mabait naman si Miss eh. And, her subject is boring." binayaran ko na rin yung mga binili ko.

"So Annika. How are you?" KC asked habang naglalakad kami pabalik sa waiting area sa may quardrangle.

"I'm fine."

"How about your *pointing to her heart*"

"Still beating. Pumpingblood for my veins."

"Quit it Ms. Scientist."

"Kfine. Masakit parin, syempre. Hindi mo naman maaalis yun agad agad. One after another painful incidents eh."

One after another. Kaya nakakainis eh. One after another. Kakatapos lang nung garden incident ko with Joshua and Steff, dumagdag pa yang si Lance. 

*flashback*

"Last question. Babalik pa ba sya?"

"Ah. Eh.. Hindi

yata ako yung dapat magsabi nyan sayo. You better ask him."

:(( With Ivo's answer, I think I know the answer. :((

"Ah. Pakisabi kay KC, uwi na ko ha. M-may gagawin pala kami ni Kuya ngayon eh." i told him, trying to hold my tears back.

"Sige. Ingat ka."

Pagkadating ko sa bahay, I went straight to my room. Again, for the nth time, I cried. Ghad. Whe will I stop crying? When will I stop being hurt? When will I be truly happy? Am I a bad person? Why do I always get hurt?

I know iniisip nyo kung bakit ako nag-iiyak dito dahil sa pag-alis ni Lance eh in the first place hindi ko naman sya pinili. I was wrong. So wrong. Very wrong. But heck. I can't return his love kasi si Joshua yung mahal ko.

But the heck..

Why am I crying right now? Why am I hurt?

Naguguluhan nanaman ako sa feelings ko. Why do I feel this way?

*end of flashback*

"Are you sure na kaya mo na silang makita?"

"Huh? Oo naman. I am ready. It has been a month. Healed na ko. Medyo nga lang."

"I mean, wala si Lance ngayon to catch you. Wala si Lance ngayon to help you."

Oo nga pala, wala si Lance ngayon. Wala akong savior from pain ngayon. :((

"A-ano ka ba! Kaya ko na. Para san pa yung pagtatagal ko ng konti sa Cebu para magready, diba? I can handle this, Kayce. Besides, andyan naman kayo ni Ivo eh."

"Right. Hi bebs." she greeted Ivo.

"Plain gross."

"Shut up, Annika." KC said.

"Bebs, inggit lang yan si Annika. Wala kasing katawagan ng bebs eh. Haha. Pero pag yan, nagkaboyfriend, pustahan tayo bebs, mas kadiri pa tawagan nila."

"Sample ng tawagan dyan, bebs."

"*acted like he's thinking*"

"Ivo. Stop pretending that you're thinking. Wala ka namang isip eh."

"Lul. Hahahaha. Sige bebe. HAhahahahahaha. Bebe. Pakshet. Hahahahaha."

"Hahahahaha. Oo nga, bebs, nakakadiri. Yun  ang gross!"

"Hahahahaha. Eww. Kadiri. Bebe. HAhahaha. I will never use that endearment. HAhahaha."

"So I see that you're happy now, Annika. Happy new year." 

That btch.

With my liar ex-boyfriend.

"Yes, I am happy. Do you care?" I answered. She's getting into my nerves again. Sht.

"Yes, I do. I hate seeing you happy."

"The feeling's mutual. Let's go, KC, Ivo. Malelate na tayo. Bye Btch, bye liar. Go to hell."

And so we left them. Steff fuming angry, and Joshua staring at me. I bet he can't believe I said those words. 

"Wow, Annika. I love your words!"

"It just came out. But I mean it. Really."
