Rayns pov:It had been two weeks, and Felix was cleared to come home.
In those two weeks, none of his family called, texted, or came to visit. His little blow-up was enough for them to stay away.
We were taking Felix back to our place. They sent him with multiple pain meds and antibiotics. His stitches were dissolvable, so we didn't have to make another appointment.
Felix and I were cuddling on the couch in the living room.
As he laid his head on my lap and I ran my fingers through his hair.
"Boys, come to eat dinner."Andy called from the kitchen; Felix groaned as he slowly dragged his body into a sitting position. I gently rested my hand on his upper back if he started falling back.
Once he got up and headed into the kitchen, Andy gave him a small shot glass with a bright pink liquid and two pills.
His face instantly cringed before he backed up, his eyes zoning out on the small cup.
"You okay, Felix?" Andy asked softly. His gaze snapped to Andy, giving him a fake smile before nodding.
We sat at the table, and he instantly grabbed the pills, taking them quickly.
We ate our meal talking. Andy tells us about Drew's new girlfriend and everything that has happened at crates.
"Felix, darling, you gotta drink the antibiotics. I'm sorry." Andy warned across the table.
Rain was pattering at the window. My stomach began to turn in pain. I grabbed it with my right hand.
As my whole body began to heat up, I knew exactly what it was. I needed to tell Andy.
"And-" The doorbell rang.
"Hold that thought, baby." Andy held up a finger as he quickly sat up. Going to open the door.I watched from the table as Andy opened the door, the rain was loud, and the window was pushing water droplets into the house.
There was a tall man I didn't recognize with a scruffy beard wearing dark clothes but a neon working vest.
He glanced behind Andy as our eyes locked.
His deep brown eyes narrowed into slits as they snapped back to Andy."Good evening, sir. With all this rain, we warned people they will be out of power for a while tonight as we are also fixing the power lines. I'm going to take some measurements of your yard quickly. Is that okay?" He spoke firmly, holding a now wet clipboard.
"Uhm...sure, I guess," Andy spoke with uncertainty.
As the man turned from the door.My eyes never left the doorway till Andy returned to the table.
"Felix, what are you doing?" Andy says, standing near the table, glaring at Felix, who stood by the kitchen sink holding something behind his back.
Andy walked over, grabbing his arm. To reveal the empty medicine cup."I-I took it?" He smiled weakly. Andy didn't buy it for a second before he sighed, walking over to the medicine cabinet. Pulling out the small pink bottle before pouring out another dose.
He walked over to Felix, holding it out.
"Felix, drink it, please." He ordered gently."I-It's not good, sir..." Felix whispered, not wanting to get in trouble. But he did not want to take his medicine.
"I know, Felix, baby, but this will help you heal. You need to take it...if you can't take it, we'll have to punish you, darling...you wouldn't want that now, would you?" His eyes darted up to Andy's in panic. He instantly shook his head.
Andy grabbed his chin, holding up the liquid, as Felix stared into his eyes innocently, practically begging him not to make him drink it.
