Eight

emerson ended up staying at junipers house. they showered and this is when they realized she didn't have an extra change of clothes.

"i have oversized sweatpants that would probably fit you." juniper kneeled down in front of her dresser, pulling out some sweatpants.

"thank you." emerson smiled and slipped on the pants.

"i could get you one of my hoodies too, if you want." juniper looked up into the green eyes she was growing obsessed with.

"no it's okay, i'm a hot sleeper.. this is okay." juniper hummed and sat on her bed, patting the spot besides her. emerson sat down and dried her hair with the towel, fixing the straps of her sports bra before pulling juniper into her lap.

"hi." june smiled, cupping the girls cheeks.

"hi beautiful." emerson smiled back, pecking junipers lips. the dark haired girl blushed and laid her head on emerson shoulder.

"you smell good." juniper cooed, nuzzling into the older more.

"thank you." emerson held the underside of junipers thighs securely while standing and untucking the blankets. she laid down with juniper laying atop her.

"can you try to make sure these stay on the bed." juniper sat up, referring to her teddy bears.

"i will try my best." emerson cooed, kissing junipers cheek. the darker haired girl smiled and looked over emerson.

"you have nice boobs." juniper said while observing the others body more.

"thank you?" emerson chuckled, watching junipers eyes scan all over her.

"mhm." she hummed, slipping her hand up her sports bra then laid her head back down. emerson didn't mind and wrapped her hands around the girls body, pulling the blankets up and over junipers shoulder.

the next morning juniper hadn't left emerson's side, staying cuddled into her since she woke up. emerson is a late sleeper so juniper had been up an hour and half before emerson even woke up. at around 11:00 emerson finally began stirring in her sleep, turning so she faced juniper.

"are you awake?" june whispered, cupping the others face.

"mhm." emerson hummed but her eyes were still closed. juniper smiled and kissed her cheeks, wrapping her arms around the girl.

"g'morning." she giggled, climbing into emerson's lap.

"morning." the brunette grumbled back, still resting her hands around junipers hips despite how heavy her eyes felt. june leaned forwards and let their foreheads touch, pecking her lips.

"you wake up so late." juniper smiled, lifting up so emerson could stretch.

"that was the best sleep i have ever had." emerson finally met junipers eyes.

"you are so pretty." she smiled, rubbing her hands up the girls sides. junipers cheeks went bright red, covering her face with her hands.

"thank you." she muttered out. emerson slipped her hands around junes back and laid her down, letting her hands softly massage the others body.

"did you already eat?" emerson asked while moving one of her hands to the girls hair.

"no, figured we could stop at your house then go get some breakfast." emerson nodded and watched as the dark haired girl got up and flipped through the clothes in the closet.

"just breakfast? orrr are we making a day out of this?" she looked over her shoulder to emerson.

"we could go shopping, or find something else to do." she rested her hand under her head, watching the other intently. juniper pulled out a shirt that had a matching skirt on the hanger.

"this is cute." she muttered to herself and laid the blue and white flowered two piece onto the bed. she then went back to her closet to continue looking through it. eventually she found a lavender dress that tied in a pretty bow in the back and laid it besides the other outfit. while she did this emerson just watched, smiling at how particular the girl was with finding an outfit.

"i like this one too." she smiled while laying a pink argyle patterned shirt on the bed. she finally looked up to meet emerson's eyes, who was watching her with a smile.

"i like the shirt." emerson said while sitting up, holding the shirt up to junipers chest.

"mhm." she hummed, standing and walking to the closet. she kneeled down and flipped through the mix of pants, shorts and skirts.

"i like this." she handed juniper a white tennis like skirt. juniper laid the skirt with the shirt and nodded contently.

"yeah, i like this." she smiled and stood from the ground, reaching around emerson to grab her slip on vans as well as her converse.

"i like the vans better." juniper turned to look at emerson, who agreed with a simple nod.

"will you plug up my curling irons, they are in the drawer on the left." she tugged off her sweatshirt while saying this, blushing as she noticed the gaze of the other.

"yeah." emerson muttered and walked to the bathroom.

juniper pretty much did the same thing at emerson's house, flipping through her closet and pulled out different pieces until she found an outfit she liked. the outfit also matched hers, which she swore she didn't purposely make them match. she picked out a stripped pink, black and white button up with some black jeans for emerson's outfit.

"can i put you hair in two braids?" juniper said while sitting in front of emerson, watching her pull on her shoes.

"why?" she asked, meeting the girls eyes.

"because i think it'll look cute." she stood to her knees and tucked the light messy hair out of her face.

"fine." emerson grumbled, sitting straight up on her bed. she didn't necessarily love her hair styled but junipers smile made it tolerable. the way she looked just so excited while carefully braiding her hair was endearing.

"like it?" she asked while tilting emerson's head down so she could see it in the mirror in front of them.

"i do." emerson smiled, tilting her head back for a kiss. it was cute to see how flustered juniper got over a simple kiss.

"okay, we all ready to go?" emerson asked while standing from her bed, reaching her hand out to help up juniper.

"mhm!" she smiled happily, keeping her hand in emerson's as they walked out of the door.
