Twenty two

the next morning emerson was a little sore, and juniper was quick to take care of her.

"do you want to take an epson salt bath?" she asked while straddling emerson's hips.

"no princess, i'm okay.... i just need to rest." juniper flashed a smile,

"well are you hungry?" emerson laughed.

"just a little bit... but i'm alright, i want you to stay here, with me." june hummed softly.

"okay." she cooed and laid her head against emerson's shoulder. the light haired girl gently ran her fingers through the others soft hair.

"you know, you were really great last night... i felt so comfortable with you, because of how you kept checking in." juniper smiled.

"i did good?" she asked excitedly.

"you did amazing, sweetheart." juniper lifted her head to press a kiss to the others collarbone and then laid her head back down.

later in the day there was a knock at the door. neither of them were expecting anyone so emerson went to answer it.

"i didn't even know you knew where she lived." emerson smiled at archi, bringing him in for a hug.

"well i didn't, but you've been ghost for like, weeks... and i remembered life 360 and had to come find you." she sighed.

"i'm sorry... things have just been, really good lately." archi smirked.

"that's okay, glad to hear you two are doing good... now go get some clothes on, we're all getting lunch." he leaned on the wall besides the door. emerson walked back into the room and smiled at juniper, crawling over top of her.

"it's just zane, he wants to take us to lunch... we gotta get up." she smooched her face a few more times before pulling her up from the bed.

emerson threw on some khaki pants and a green sweatshirt, pulling her hair up into a messy bun and juniper wore one of emerson's crew necks and some black jeans, her hair in two low ponytails over her shoulders.

"you look so good with your hair up." juniper said, hugging emerson from behind as she fixed her hair.

"thanks babe." she cooed, kissing junes arm before going back to fixing her hair.

"is everyone clothed?" archi asked with his hand over his eyes.

"yeah." juniper giggled, letting go of emerson and plopped down on her bed.

"hey archi." she smiled, patting the spot besides her.

"hey, i have a few restaurants picked out... you wanna make the choice?" she nodded and took his phone, looking at the menus of the places he picked out.

"sorry for hogging emmie, she's just... so great." emerson scoffed at the nickname.

"june." she grumbled, turning around to look at the two. archi just smiled at the two girls. he hadn't seen them together in awhile, but he saw how they seemed to be so much closer and comfortable.

"you guys make me want to gag." he scoffed while watching them giggling at who knows what.

"oh quit, you act like you don't have a boyfriend." emerson scoffed, resting her hand down on junes lap. they looked at the menus as silence filled the table.

"how are you two anyways?" juniper asked after settling on what she wanted.

"we're great, he's sick so i haven't seen him in around a week... miss him like crazy." juniper pouted.

"aww, i was hoping he'd be with you." archi scoffed.

"i'm not enough?" he asked with a exaggerated pout

"now you're putting words in my mouth." she grumbled, crossing her arms at her chest.

"maybe we could take him some soup." emerson suggested after passing the soup menu.

"i think that's a good idea." archi smiled, turning to look at the soul menu as well.

after lunch they did just that, went to target to pick up a get well card and some more comfort items. a teddy bear, some nice pajama pants, some of his favorite snacks. and then they went to panera bread to get him some soup.

they didn't want his soup to be cold so it was the last place they went. emerson got the bag together as she sat in the back seat, making sure it looked nice before sitting it in the floor besides her.

"could you call him?" he reached into his pocket and handed juniper his phone.

"he should be the last call." juniper pouted her lip at his contact name and photo.

"awww, my love." she said while clicking the contact.

"shut up." he grumbled and took the phone from her hands. as they pulled into his driveway finn opened the door to his house, waving at the people in the car.

"i don't want to get you guys sick!" he shouted with a laugh. emerson poked her head out of the window with a smile.

"it's fine, good to see you!" she shouted back. juniper giggled at emerson.

"how cute are they?" she said with a soft smile, admiring how gentle archi seemed to be with him.

"archi has always been really sweet with his partners, he's never been a quarter as nice with me." emerson laughed. they watched as he ruffled finn's hair before pressing a peck to his lips.

"i'll call you later, get some rest." archi said before getting in the car.

"what are you guys giggling at?" he asked while starting the car.

"how sweet you are to him." juniper smiled.

"and how mean you are to me." emerson added which made him scoffed.

"well you don't get partner treatment, you get best friend treatment."

"to be fair you do the same thing with me." juniper said while looking back at her.

"who's side are you on?" she laughed at her girlfriend, who just shrugged and giggled. they decided to go back to emerson's for a while. they knew junipers house would be fine, even though they left in a little bit of a hurry. juniper was paranoid about stuff like this, making sure every single thing is turned off and there's nothing in the outlets.

"so this is sam?" archi asked while picking up the sloth teddy bear that was on the counter.

"yeah, isn't he so cute?" juniper said excitedly, hugging his arm as he held the teddy bear closely.

"he is, emerson showed me kona a few days after you guys got her.... they are like, you're first babies."

"see! i said that and she thought i was crazy." juniper said while turning to look at emerson, who shrugged defensively.

"i didn't think you were crazy, i just thought the idea was a little silly." she walked to juniper and placed a soft kiss to the top of her head.

"i don't think it's silly." she grumbled with crossed arms.

"why do you have one single flower?" archi asked while looking at the small vase and flower.

"why are you snooping through my stuff?" emerson retorted.

"that looks like one of the flowers you got me." juniper added after looking at the flower. emerson sighed before answering.

"it's so i always know when to get you more flowers." she said and took the vase from archi's hand.

"quit messing with my things." she grumbled, immediately smiling when june hugged here.

"are you serious? that's the cutest thing i've ever heard." archi smile at the blush that swarmed emerson's cheeks, pulling the both of them to the couch.

"so, what movie are we watching?"
