after their little talk they started looking into what it would take to have a kid. of course they could adopt but they wanted the baby to have both of their dna. as well as juniper did want to experience pregnancy at least once.

they also started to look at houses and getting an idea of pricing and houses they liked in the area. maybe they were too excited, maybe they were way too ahead of themselves. but they were excited to have their own little family, even if these plans would never play out.

juniper also started a baby list on amazon, cute toys and clothes that she liked. emerson didn't know about this. she didn't know why she was afraid to tell emerson but she wanted it to just be her little thing for now.

"hey baby." emerson smiled while walking into the bedroom with her computer open in her hand.

"hi." juniper smiled, poking her lips out for a kiss. emerson pressed their lips together before plopping down on the bed.

"i've found a clinic that does IVF, they are about an hour away." she leaned into juniper so she could see the computer. juniper read through the article emerson had pulled up.

"you alright?" emerson asked while looking at june, seeing her eye brows furrowed ever so slightly.

"yeah, i think it's just dawned on my that by next year we could be parents." emerson smiled warmly.

"i know, isn't that exciting?" juniper nodded.

"and just a little scary." the light haired girl smiled.

"i bet, you will be the very best mother." june cupped the others cheeks and rested her forehead against emerson's.

"we... we will be the best mothers." she corrected, pressing their lips together. after this they continued looking at the article, getting an idea of cost, and what the procedure would be like. as they read more about it they were more and more excited about being moms.

~~~two years later~

emerson and juniper have been in their new house for around nine months. it wasn't too far out of town and almost exactly what they wanted.

a nice house, four bedrooms and two and a half baths. if you were wondering, yes.. they did have their baby girl. it took a little longer than what they excepted and there was a few complications with the procedure but they couldn't be any happier with the outcome.

elliot was the perfect little girl. she was an easy baby, she slept through the night. she only cried if something was wrong. she was peaceful.

they decided to name her emerson's middle name. there was a few other names but juniper realized how excited emerson was when her middle name was brought up.

really uncle archi named her. he was the one to bring up emerson middle name when they were out for lunch one day.

elliot was now six months old, getting to the stage where she wouldn't sit still and would babble her little words all over the house.

"so, when does she start crawling?" finely asked, sitting on the floor with elliot surround by her toys.

"realistically whenever she's ready, but she is close to the age now." emerson said and pulled juniper to lay on her shoulder.

"you know, i'm really proud of you guys." archi said. with a soft smile.

"two years ago i didn't think you guys would own a house, let alone have a baby." juniper smiled.

"i guess you had too little faith in us." emerson shrugged. he shook his head.

"i didn't mean it like that dick head, just saying you guys are doing really good for yourselves." she smiled.

" i know, thanks archi." he smiled and scooped elliot up.

"should we get some apple sauce hmm?" he cooed in his baby voice. juniper laughed softly at his ridiculous baby talk.

"soo.. when does she get to stay the night with us, you guys deserve a nice night out... you two have been working so hard in the past year."

"yeah." archi chimed in from the kitchen. emerson smiled and shrugged.

"i dunno, she not so little anymore.. but she still needs milk... she's not fully on food yet."

"i've seen your freezer, you guys have gallons of milk." archi laughed.

"i know, but.. still. i don't want to let her go just yet." juniper pouted, which made finn nod.

"i know, just know we are free to babysit whenever you guys need it."

"thanks guys." emerson smiled, pressing a kiss to junes head before getting up to check on archi and elliot.

"hi baby." she cooed, pressing a kiss to her head before sitting in the chair besides her high chair.

"she's the sweetest." archi pouted, wiping her mouth with her bib.

"have you ever thought about being a dad? you're so good with her." he scoffed.

"absolutely not... your baby is sweet and all, but.. i don't think i could have a baby 24/7." emerson smiled.

"you'll always have a built in baby sitter, though."

"mmm.... mama." elliot babbled, hitting her hand against her high chair.

"did she just say mama?" juniper asked excitedly from the couch, practically jumping over the back of it to get to the kitchen.

"i think she did." archi laughed, leaning into her.

"did you say mama?" he asked again in his horrible baby voice.

"how do we know who she's referring to?" juniper asked while leaning on the back of emerson's chair.

"maybe i'm mama, since she said it towards me.. and you're mommy."

"awe that's cute." finley smiled, leaning on the back of archi's chair.

"what about mommy, can you say that?" elliot just smiled cheekily.

"mama." she repeated, leaning forwards for her spoon of applesauce.
