Eleven

she picked them up some food before heading back to junes place, keeping her promise of getting her home before 9:30.

"hey." emerson whispered, softly shaking june awake.

"you're home, before 9:30." she smiled jokingly. juniper smiled as well but it faded relatively quickly.

"can you, maybe.. stay, with me." she said sleepily. her sleep has been shit lately, and when she was with emerson she was always able to fall asleep.

"yeah, of course." emerson turned off her car and grabbed their food and drinks. juniper unlocked the door and sighed remember the mess. emerson noticed it but didn't say anything, just followed the girl to her room.

"sorry about the mess." juniper said while picking up the clothes on her floor.

"it's fine." emerson smiled warmly, sitting at her desk.

"are you hungry? i got us some food." emerson looked over her shoulder to see juniper looked exhausted. she stood from the desk and scooped june up, carrying her up to the headboard.

"you can eat if you're hungry." juniper said but was pretty much ignored by the girl who was getting comfortable under the blankets.

"you get some rest." emerson disregarded what june said earlier. she smiled and cuddled into the others chest, quickly drifting off to sleep. once emerson knew juniper was fully asleep she carefully got up from the bed, picking up the rest of the clothes that were thrown around the room and tossed them in the laundry basket.

she walked to the kitchen and tossed the dark clothes into the washer, sitting the basket down before tackling the kitchen. she washed the dishes and put away all of the little things that were out around the house. she knew exactly what juniper was going through and she knew it wasn't easy. she'd kill to have someone help her when she was going through it.

when she finished the kitchen she went to the living room which wasn't too messy but she still fixed the pillows on the couch and folded the blankets. before she went back to junipers room she put the dark clothes in the dryer and started the washer with the light clothes.

she walked back to junes room and found the girl still sleeping peacefully. emerson pressed a kiss to the girls cheek and continued to clean up the room. the room was pretty much clean after getting up the clothes but she still continued to pick up the little things. as she was doing this she noticed juniper stirring in her sleep.

"hey." she said softly, sitting on the bed and softly moved the hair from her face. juniper wrapped her arm around emerson and hugged her tightly before she fell still again. emerson couldn't bring herself to pull away from juniper. she decided she'd finish up cleaning in the morning and pulled off her pants with her free hand, climbing under the blankets and wrapped her arms around juniper.

"you smell good." juniper hummed while nuzzling her nose into the girls neck. emerson smiled and kissed junes cheek, letting her eyes flutter closed.

the next morning when juniper woke up she was confused. her room was not how she left it. if it weren't for the fact that she had all the teddy bears she would've thought she was at emerson's house. the light haired girl laid besides her, her head shoved into one of the stuffed animals.

she saw the food from last night still on the dresser. juniper leaned over the girl and kissed her cheek, softly stroking her light hair before deciding to take a shower. she got in and started washing her hair. as she was letting the conditioner sit she heard her door open. she peaked through the shower curtain and smiled at the sight of emerson.

"good morning." emerson smiled as juniper hid back behind the shower curtain.

"you didn't have to clean up." june said while washing her body.

"yeah, but i wanted to help." emerson said while leaning against the sink of the bathroom.

"well, thank you." emerson smiled.

"of course, i have to head back home." juniper pulled the shower curtain back just enough for them to look at each other.

"why?" she asked with a whine, the light haired girl smiling and walking towards her.

"i've got to change and stuff, but i'll come back if you want me to." juniper nodded at this. emerson gripped the girls cheeks softly and smiled, kissing her lips.

"i'll see you later, eat some breakfast please." juniper nodded as emerson walked out of the bathroom. she continued her shower and got dressed in some of her freshly cleaned pajamas, thanks to emerson.

she did eat breakfast, for the first time in days. she made herself waffles and eggs, which she deemed good enough. she finished folding up the laundry and put it away, laying back in bed. though she felt better, more energized than she's been in days.

she looked around her room for things she could do and she landed on a picture she started a few weeks ago. it had been sorta abandoned when she fell into the funk she was in. she continued drawing and eventually finished it, two hours later.
