they both thought that after this day they would be awkward, but nothing changed other than more sexual jokes between them. today they were simply just laid together in bed, cuddling and watching disney movies. juniper was a disney junky and she felt the need to show emerson all of her favorites.
"archi and finley are coming over with food." emerson said while softly stroking the dark hair of the girl in her arms.
"can they watch disney with us?" juniper said softly, looking up at emerson.
"yeah, we will finish all of your movies." june smiled and cuddled back into emersons chest. later when archi and finley arrived the came with pasta, breadsticks and salad. emerson and juniper migrated their cuddle session to downstairs, starting a different disney movie and decided to finish the one they were originally watching later.
"disney okay with you guys?" emerson asked while looking at the two boys.
"i love disney." finn smiled, taking a bite from his pasta. emerson knew archi wasn't the biggest fan of disney movies but he was out numbered. the two (juniper and finley) decided on watching the lion king, one of their favorites. emerson and archi were quite surprised about how well the two got along, almost like they were friends before and we're just catching up.
archi smirked when noticing the fading red mark on emerson neck. emerson rolled her eyes while watching archi examine her neck, shaking her head softly to the redhead. later they decided to make some cookies. juniper and finley were the ones baking while emerson and archi just stood by with little comments and jokes.
"hey baby." juniper said and blushed from embarrassment after noticing she said that loud enough for the others to hear. emerson's was quick to comfort her, pulling the dark haired girl to her chest and softly rubbed her back.
"you don't have to hide from them." she smiled softly, to which the boy smiled too.
"yeah, we are sorta the same." finley smiled warmly, wrapping his arms around junipers back. archi smiled at their group hug and wrapped his arms around emerson and finley.
"yeah, we're all gay around here." juniper giggled at his comment and lifted her head up, smiling at emerson.
"so you guys are a thing." finn said while pulling away from juniper and emerson, sliding the tray of cookies into the oven.
"i'd like to think so." juniper said with a small smile, poking her lips out for a kiss.

a week later emerson wanted to take juniper on a date, just for the two of them. she felt a little guilt about not officially asking juniper out. so she planned a dinner for them as well as a nice day out.
"ready to go?" emerson's smiled to the girl that was fixing her hair in the mirror.
"no." she groaned, resting her hands at her side with a irritated sigh.
"what's wrong." emerson asked, walking into the bathroom.
"my hair looks weird." she grumbled, tucking a few pieces back into the ponytail.
"i think it looks beautiful." emerson cooed, softly brushing up a few of the fly aways that seemed to be upsetting june.
"better?" she asked, softly brushing her thumb against her hair.
"kinda." she hummed, resting her head against emerson's chest. she smiled and pushed a kiss to junipers head and held her hand softly, leading them out of the house.
"i found a candle making place, we can make our own candles." juniper said excitedly while taking emerson's hand into hers.
"we could do that... i only have two things planned, and ones later tonight." juniper turned to look at emerson and smiled while taking in her features.
"can i know where we are going?" she asked, which made emerson chuckle.
"no, not yet." june whined, hugging emersons arm.
"pleaseee." she begged. emerson glanced over and smiled softly, kissing the back of her hand.
"fine.. we're going to get some custom teddy bears." juniper gasped, holding the others hand tighter.
"build a bear?" she asked, but emerson sighed softly.
"well, we're going in the opposite director build a bear... we could do that for another date though." she smiled at this and laid back into her seat. when they arrived juniper was in a shopping center she didn't even know existed. the place was small and she soon learned it was a family owned place.
"so, you guys can pick a teddy bear and we are able to stitch in little sayings or custom patches, or you can just get the teddy bear." the pink haired girl said with a smile. juniper smiled back before looking up at emerson.
"red panda?" she asked but emerson shook her head.
"i think you should pick." june smiled and tugged emerson over to the bins of teddy bears.
"those ones are weighted." the lady said while watching from a distance. juniper loved weighted stuffed animals so they stayed in this section.
"what about the sloth?" juniper smiled, picking it up from the bin and hugged it to her chest.
"it's heavy." she smiled, handing it to emerson whilst looking over the rest of the bears.
"or maybe a koala" she hummed, picking up a koala that was in a sleeping posistion.
"why not both? they could be like, our children." juniper said, smiled and turned to face the taller, nodding.
"i like both." they spun around to notice the lady wasn't at the front desk anymore so they continued to walk around and look at other stuffed animals.
"you guys make any decisions?" the pink haired lady said cheerfully. the two smiled and walked to her.
"yeah, just these two." emerson said while placing the sloth on the counter. they decided to name the sloth sam and the koala kona, named after junipers childhood teddy bear that she left at a zoo. the names were stitched into the bottom left of the back of the teddys.
