Kai walked down the hallway with Nya and Jay; they all were going to the same class.
"I was mega surprised," Jay explained. "Like the people younger than Skylor who went to twelfth grade with us as the new batch will be like..."
"Hey, Skylor!" Kai called out, waving to a redhead in a ponytail.
"Hey," Skylor said back in a calm voice. She stopped for a second, kissed Kai on the cheek, and ran down the hall.
"Oof--"Kai muttered, blushing red.
"We saw that, Kai!!!" Nya hollered, making him blush more.
"AAAAGH! WHAT THE HECK?!" he screamed.
"She likes you, Kai!" Jay exclaimed, not surprised.
"Eh-um...y-yeah, yeah I guess..." Kai trailed off, smiling and looking at the floor.
"Kai, watch out--" Nya yelled, but by then he had bonked his head into the door of Ms. Uhea's classroom.
"Kai! Nya! Jay! Be careful!" Ms. Uhea hollered.
But the three of them were all laughs until they sat down in their seats.
