Kai was found in the corner of the waiting room crying by Cole.
"Kai?" he asked.
"Go away, please," Kai sobbed.
"Kai, listen. It wasn't your fault."
"Yes it was. Now go away, Cole."
"Why are you even blaming yourself?" Cole asked again.
"No. I did it. I was driving. I wasn't supposed to be looking away. I should be blamed," Kai started crying harder now.
"Oh, Kai," Cole sighed, walking over and placing his arm on Kai's shoulder.
"And now he's got a brain injury. It's a serious thing," Kai wailed.
"Calm down. It'll be alright. Lloyd doesn't blame you."
Kai looked up angrily, rage filling his eyes. "Yeah, that's the point! He SHOULD blame me cause it was my fault!"
Cole sighed again.

"So, he's alright. He's just gonna need to stay home for a few days and he needs to be attending therapy sessions which would be informed to his parents," the doctor explained.
"Oh, good," Maya replied, hugging Kai close to her. They'd all rushed over as soon as they heard the news.
Kai was still weary and guilty but felt better after hearing that Lloyd was okay. A diffuse axonal injury was hard to recover from, but Lloyd's wasn't that severe.
Wu and Misako stayed at the hospital with Lloyd, and they all went home.
Update: Skylor and Jay's house is rebuilt. Vania and Cole's house is alright too. Lloyd stays with his parents and Harumi is staying with Kai and Nya for now.
