"'Kelsy. What the fuck bitch." I said, walking up to her at the end of the day. She flipped her hair over her shoulder, a sign that she's annoyed.

"Excuse me?" She said, looking at me, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Don't act fucking stupid Kelsy. Why would you say that shit to Ryker?" I asked angrily. She's really going to play dumb with me right now? I know her better than anyone, she can't pull the
wool over my eyes.

"Say what?" She asked, shrugging her shoulders.

"Kelsy! Stop with the bullshit! What does me and Ryker have to do with Darren?" I asked. She looked at me for a second and then sighed.

"Fine. I did talk to Ryker but—"

"But nothing! Why did you do this to me, it makes no sense! You just made things more complicated between us. He fucking pissed now and it's all your fault!" I said.

"Okay, Mason, but what exactly is happening between you two?" She asked, tilting her head and scrunching her brows.

"Nothing now thanks to you and your big ass mouth. You had no right sticking your nose where it doesn't fucking belong." I snapped.

"Why do you care so fucking much Mason! You claim not to care for this boy, or whatever is happening isn't important to Darren and I, but obviously it's more important than you let it on to be." She said

"No matter what it was, it was important to me and you ruined it." I said.

"Are you kidding me! Why are you sticking up for him? This boy has done nothing but bring you trouble in your life, and now all of a sudden your life is nothing without him? And look, not you've got a fucking hickey the size of Guam on your neck, like he's claiming you as his fucking property. What exactly was....Oh my God." She said gasping dramatically.

"Oh your God what?" I asked.

"Mason, are you serious?" She asked, shaking her head.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. She shook her head again, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Mason. You really like him?" She asked. I felt my heart start going crazy as she said this to me. Like Ryker? I don't like him. That's crazy. Ludicrous even.

You know you have to do in times like this? Deny deny deny!

"What? No, Kelsy I—"

"Don't try to deny it, I can see right through you and it's easy to tell that you do in fact like him." She said.

"I don't like him. Just because we hang out now and he kissed me one time—" Three times now. "—doesn't mean there is something happening. Why don't you believe me?" I asked.

"Because! You two randomly start hanging out and you guys are kissing all over the place, all you talk about these days is him. And you've got a hickey!" She said.

"So?" I asked. "That doesn't mean I like him."

"It doesn't? Okay." She said laughing bitterly.

"It doesn't! Who are you to tell me who I like?" I asked.

"Your best friend." She said. "I care for your wellbeing, and being with Ryker isn't a good thing, no matter what you may think."

"Who cares! Why do you care so fucking much?" I yelled.

"When it's not Datren I care!" She said. I sat there looking at her. She looked like she just gave away a big secret, which she just did I'm assuming.

"Kelsy are you saying what I think you're saying?" I asked.
