I felt someone poking my side and I groaned, rolling over. The poking resumed, and I reached over slapping the violent finger away, which earned a couple chuckles from the poker.

"'Wake up princess, I'm hungry." Ryker said to me,
wrapping his arms around me. I groaned again, pushing at his arms. I'm not a morning person, mornings freaking suck.

"Not gunna get up. Fine." He said. I felt the bed lighten up from his getting up off the bed and I sighed in contentment. Yeah, give up peasant.

Then, I felt myself being lifted.

"Hey hey hey!" I said, but it was too late. He already had me in his arms princess style. How ironic.

"Well, you didn't want to get up so I picked you up." He said.

"I don't know how." I grumbled.

"Because, despite how you may trick yourself into thinking you are, you're not that big." He said truthfully, kicking his bedroom door open.

"I am too big. You're just freakishly big which makes me look small in comparison." I said, which just made him snort.

"Don't you dare carry me into the kitchen like this." I said as he walked down the stairs as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I can't lie, this is a bit comfortable.

"It's fine, nobody is here but my sister and she's in her room." He said, carrying me into the kitchen. He
sat me down on the counter, giving me a quick kiss before heading over to the fridge.

I watched him take milk out of the fridge, his muscles flexing as he took out the heavy carton, "I'm gunna have cereal, you want some?" He asked.

"Yeah. What kinds you got?" I asked.

"What kinds? How old are you?" He asked smiling, I stuck my tongue out at him and he smiled wider, walking over to a cabinet and opening it to reveal seven different types of cereal. And the one that caught my eye was the Coco Krispies.

"Those." I pointed. "I demand chocolate for breakfast."

"Get 'em." He said, grabbing fruit loops and going to a different cabinet. I walked over to the cabinet, reaching for the Coco Krispies but I was too short.

"Damn you genetics." I snapped under my breath, climbing up on the counter. I nodded triumphantly, hopping down off the counter.

"What happened to being big?" He asked.

"That was just a minor setback." I said stubbornly.

"You could've just asked me to help you, you know that right?" He asked chucking.

"Yeah but that wouldn't have felt as nice." I said as he handed me a pretty big bowl. I poured my cereal, giving the box back to Ryker to put back in the cabinet. I poured my milk and cereal, looking around.

"Um, where do you keep your silver wear?" I asked. I really don't know his house at all, I need to spend more time here.

"Oh here." He said, opening a drawer and handing me a spoon.

"Thanks." I said, picking up my bowl and heading towards the kitchen table. He followed behind, sitting across trom me.

"So...." He said, cating some fruit loops, "You never told me why you came here last night, you just kinda showed up. I'm not upset that you showed up, I'm just kinda curious at to what exactly happened."

I looked at him, sighing. "I dunno, last night after I brought you home I went back to my house, and we sat down in the living room. My dad started asking me about what happened, and told me everything was going to be okay. My mom on the other hand..."
