Friendship Tacos!

(Lapse POV)

It's been a month since I've been in this new multiverse and I finally found out what type of multiverse this is. Error is not forced to destroy, Fate is neutral, Destiny is Neutral, Nightmare hates Dream, Nightmare did eat the apple, Ink is forced to create, Dream is a sad boi but puts up a happy facade, Ink has a soul and emotions, Swap isn't part of the star sanses...yet. So yeah, that's pretty much all the info I have found out from adventuring this multiverse.

Oh right- since I'm in a different multiverse I decided to give my little error a different name since an error sans already exists here. Humming quietly, I stare at little error who's sleeping in my arms while wondering what to name him when it hit me, I would name my little error, faultless. Smiling, I gently hug faultless closer while staring at the starry night sky that was shining around me.

A few minutes after staring at the starry night sky, I felt little error move. Looking down, I am met with a happy looking error staring up at me. "You awake now little one?" I said while softly smiling at error. "Yeh" error said while happily nodding his skull. "Since you're awake now, I need to tell you something very important, okay?" I said while giving error a head pat on the skull. "Kay!" Little error said while leaning into the head pat. "Your new name is going to be faultless is that alright with you little one?" I said while staring at error. "Fautess?" Little error said while staring at me. "Faultless, but yes if that's okay with you little one?" I said while smiling at error. "Kay! New name iz fautess!" Faultless said while now happily chanting his new name.

'Thank goodness he wasn't upset about his name being changed or I wouldn't know what to do if he started crying because I suggested his name to be changed to a different one.' I thought while inwardly letting out a sigh of relief. Staring at faultless who was happily chanting his new name, I smile happily but froze the next second when I sensed a huge wave of destruction and creativity magic blast throughout the multiverse. Frowning, I quickly pick up faultless in my arms and quickly teleport away.

(An hour later-)

(Lapse POV)

I was now in an au called Underswap and so far everything was going fine, well at least everything was going fine until faultless started crying and then his magic started up making him teleport away on accident. Instantly panicking when faultless disappeared from my hold, I used the family bond i had with him and then teleported to his location.

Once I teleported over to where faultless was, I was relieved to see that he was okay but then I tensed up slightly when I saw that someone was holding him. Staring at the one holding him, I notice that he was the sans of this au and he seemed surprised to see faultless in his arms.

Immediately I approached the sans of this au until finally I was a few feet away, the sans at first didn't notice me since I had my aura hidden until faultless noticed me and started reaching for me while saying mama. Giving faultless a quick smile, I turn my attention to the sans who was now staring at me with a surprised look.

Right when I opened my mouth to ask for my child back, the sans in front of me already seemed to realize he should hand faultless back over so he quickly placed faultless back in my hold before looking at me with a curious look.

Gently checking over faultless, I internally breath a sigh of relief when I saw that he wasn't harmed. Lifting my gaze away from faultless to the sans in front of me, I say a quick thank you and immediately turned to leave when the sans of this au suddenly said something. "W-wait! I never got to introduce myself! My name is Swap what's yours?" Swap said while waiting for me to respond. 'It wouldn't hurt to introduce myself and faultless' I thought while turning to face swap. "My name is Lapse and this is my little Faultless" I said while softly smiling at faultless.

"You have nice names! Oh right- do you wanna try a friendship taco? I made them myself!" Swap said while teleporting a plate of tacos in his hands while excitedly holding it out in front of me. Staring down at the plate of tacos, I hesitated for a moment but then decided to grab a taco and then ate it whole. After eating the taco I was relieved to find that there was nothing wrong with the taco and that it tasted just fine.

When I looked up from eating the taco I was faced with swap who looked shocked and then panicked. "Oh stars! Are you okay? You're not chocking are you?! You just ate the taco in one bite!" Swap said while teleporting the rest of the tacos to who knows where and then he started to worriedly check on me. "I'm fine." I said while giving out a calming aura to make swap relax. "Are you sure?" Swap asked while still staring at me with concerned eye lights, though seemingly more calm now.

"Really, I'm fine swap." I said while giving him a reassuring smile. "Alright, I'll trust that you're fine then." Swap said a little hesitantly before looking at Faultless who was snuggled into my chest. Smiling at faultless, swap gave a little sigh before turning his attention back to me.

"Would you and your child like to stay at my home for awhile? I have some toys I think your child would love to play with and I don't want you two to freeze out here." Swap said while staring at me with hope filled eyelights. "Well- alright." I said hesitantly. "Yes! I can't wait for you to taste more of my friend ship tacos! Though, please try to chew next time. I don't want to have a soul attack each time I think your gonna choke." Swap said while quickly grabbing my hand and teleporting us in front of his house.

"I'll try to chew the taco next time." I said while following swap into the house with faultless still in my hold. "Good!-Oh right! My brother shouldn't be here right now, from what I know he's at a meeting." Swap said while gesturing for me to sit on the couch. After I sat down, swap headed into the kitchen and started making more friendship tacos while also talking to me from the kitchen.

While I chatted with swap, faultless had woken up and was curiously listening as we talked until he spotted a teddy bear that was laying next to me. Crawling off my lap, Faultless went over to the teddy bear and pulled it close and then started to nibble on it's arm. Noticing what Faultless was doing, I picked him up while letting him hold the teddy bear.

And then after I had faultless back in my lap, I sent my magic to faultless so that he could absorb it and get full. After a few minutes, faultless was full and yawned before snuggling into me and the teddy bear that he still had in his hold. Once faultless finally dozed off, I noticed that swap had finished making the tacos and was currently waiting for them to cool off while also seemingly staring off into space.

"You okay there swap?" I said while staring at him with a slightly concerned look. "Hm? Ah yes, I'm fine it's just faultless reminds me of my brother when he was a little baby bone and I would care for him and he would tell me all his worries and secrets but now? He never tells me what's wrong anymore." Swap said while sadly smiling. "I see... I hope you can get through to him somehow " I said while gently rubbing faultless on the skull.

"I hope I can get through to him somehow too" swap said while staring at the now cooled down tacos. "Anyways- do you want another taco?" Swap said while turning to me. "Sure." I said while gently shifting faultless off my lap to my side.

While lapse and swap continued to chat and eat tacos, faultless was still sleeping while dreaming about staring at the stars with his momma.
