Chapter 4 - Meeting Up?

Aries' POV

School? Boring. Life? Who knows. My sanity? Dead. I'm kidding, sorta. Anyways, it's in the middle of Math class and I am soooo boreddd. The teacher just keeps rambling on and on about the same thing. When will the bell ringgg? Ugh. I put my head down because it was throbbing. My head hurt sooo much. Thank God this is my last class. "Pst." I heard someone whisper. I looked up and saw Aquarius lookin' at me, we shared a desk together. I blinked and raised an eyebrow. She held out a note. Why is she giving me a note? I sighed and took it. I opened it up and it said, and I quote, 'Hey, can u meet up w/ me later? Maybe sometime after school?' I blinked and looked over to Aqua. Her face looked red, for some reason, and she looked embarrassed too. Why is her face red? Meh. I shrugged it off and replied to the note. 'Idk, I might have somethin to do, but if I dont, then sure ig' I tried to pass the note back to Aqua but then- "Ahem, Aries, Aquarius, if that note is so important, maybe the whole class should here it." Oh great! Ms. Delphinus, the math teacher, was standing in front of our desk!

I looked over to Aqua and she had her hands over her head, her head down. I could tell she was embarrassed and worried, just from a glance. "Well?" Ms. Delphinus raised her eyebrow, holding out her hand. "Miss," I cleared my throat. "Aquarius had nothing to do with this? I was just writing on this paper and was going to throw it away." I pointed to the trash can next to Aqua's desk. Delphinus looked to the trash can. "Hmm, seems I jumped to conclusions, sorry." She walked back to the front of the class. "As I was saying, class is almost over, so I'm allowing you kids to do whatever but don't be too loud." Ms. Delphinus sighed, sitting at the chair behind her desk. The other kids got up and got their phones out, as usual. "Thanks for covering for me." Aqua lifted her head, smiling at me. I nodded. "No prob, you are one of my best friends after all." I shrugged, grabbing my stuff. "Soo, about that note.." Aqua scooted closer to me, her face was still slightly red tho. "Oh yeah, here." I handed her the note. She took it, her hand was actually kinda soft. I wonder if I held her hand- wait what am I thinking?! I shook my head. I'm turning into a weirdo. "You'd really consider it? I thought it sounded cheesy." Aqua's voice brought me back to reality. "If you think it sounded cheesy, then why'd you give it to me?" I chuckled. "I don't know!" Aqua said through laughs. I laughed with her. "Soo, you'll consider?" Aqua looked at me with an awkward grin. Her hand was on the back of her head as she chuckled. "Yep," I nodded with slight smile. Just then the bell rang. Everybody except for me and Aqua just tried to run out the door at the same time. "One at a time!" Ms. Delphinus yelled. "Welp, we should go. I wanna go home." I got up and waited for Aqua. She nodded as we walked out of class together.

(At Aries and Taurus' House..)

Once I got home, I put all my stuff on the couch next to Dad. "Ahem, your stuff doesn't belong on the couch." I turned to dad, his arms were crossed and he was smiling. I rolled my eyes playfully and sighed as I sat next to him. Taurus sat on the other side of him. I got my phone and was about to text Aqua. "So, how was school kiddos?" Dad asked. "Boring." I rolled my eyes, I started texting Aqua since I had the chance. "Well, it was good for me!" Taurus replied. I heard Dad chuckle. "Who are you texting Aries?" I looked over to Dad and he had a grin on his face. "Is it a girl?" He chuckled. I rolled my eyes. "Yes, it is. But we're just friends. Although, she did give me this note." I got out the note Aqua gave me. "Ooo, she could like you~" Dad teased. "Oh please!" I scoffed as I rolled my eyes. Why would she even like me in the first place? I'm an angry ram, what could she see in me? I could feel my face getting hot. I pushed that aside and checked my phone. I had texted Aqua, after I did that, I turned to Dad. "Hey Dad," I looked up to him. "Yeah kiddo?" He looked to me. "Do you know if I have anything to do today?" I wanted to be 100% sure I had nothin' to do so I could meet up with Aqua. "Hmm, I don't think so, why?" Dad looked at me with a curious expression. "I have to meet up with a friend of mine." I glanced to the note that was still in my hand.

"So you're going on a date then?" Dad smirked. "What?! No! I'm just going to meet up with Aqua!" Shoot! "Aqua? Isn't that was you call Aquarius?" Taurus looked over Dad's shoulder. I sighed, there's no use in trying to hide it now. "Yes, I call her Aqua," I started. "Wait isn't she that blue-haired girl? The one you're always flirting with?" Dad chuckled. "Ok," I sat up. "One, me and Aqua don't actually flirt with each other, it's just as jokes. Two, she's the one who gave me this note. She wants me to meet up with her." I explained everything. I picked up my phone and checked if Aqua texted me back. And she hadn't. I sighed in disappointment and went to my room. I flopped onto my bed and checked my phone again. Still no response... I was actually feeling a bit sad that she wasn't responding. And she hasn't seen my message yet, so she's not leaving me on read, which is good. But, I hope she does see my message soon...

"Hey, idk if I have anything yet, but I hope I don't. I've been wanting to ask you to meet up with me for a while actually. I've wanted to spend quality time with a good friend like you."
