Chapter 17 - Dagger Surprise!

Aquarius' POV

I was just hanging out with the rest of the Zodiacs, as usual. Aries was showing off that he had just stolen a random dagger. And I chuckled at how much of a big deal he made it. Though, I still had a feeling that something was off. I crossed my arms and slumped as I sat. I think Aries noticed this. I saw his proud smirk with a boastful gleam in his eyes, change to an unhappy frown with concern appearing in his eyes. "Hey," I heard his voice as I turned my head. "You ok?" His voice was soft- which was a little weird considering this was Aries- yet, it was soothing to me. "Yeah, I'm ok." I smiled. "You sure? You look down. Is the cold bothering you again? I'll let you wear my jacket if you need it." He took off his jacket and held it out for me. "No, no, I'm alright." I gently pushed his hand back. He put his jacket back on whilst eyeing me. "Are you positive, Aqua? Did someone hurt you? Who do I need to murder tonight?" He had his serious tone now. "No, Aries, don't worry. I'm fine, really!" I chuckled. "But..." I added, looking down a bit. "I have a feeling something is off..." I rubbed my hand against my arm. "How so?" Aries had calmed down. "I'm not sure. Everything seems normal, but... I just feel like something is off..." I looked around.

Taurus and Libra were talking, they were fidgeting awkwardly; Gemini was cackling whilst Pisces was chuckling; side note those two recently became an official couple and they're adorable together; Scorpio and Cancer were asleep, her head was resting on his shoulder; Capricorn and Virgo were deep in conversation, because of course they were; and Leo and Sagittarius were just chillin' as normal.

I think it was just me, but I felt something was weird.

Then, a glow emitted from the middle of the room, and everyone's attention turned to it. Even Scorpio and Cancer both woke up. Someone walked out of the glow. He was tall, and he had a snake tail and a beanie. Ophiuchus. "What are you doing here? I still don't forgive you for what you did to Libra!" I got up and glared into his eyes angrily. "Well, she's weak, and so are you. Now, who has my dagger!" He yelled. My eyes traced to Aries, and I saw him put the dagger in his pocket, trying to hide it. Ophiuchus pushed me out of the way rudely and walked up to Aries. "What?" Aries raised his eyebrow. "You have it! I saw you put it in your pocket!" Ophiuchus glared at him. "I don't know what you're talking about." Aries rolled his eyes. Ophiuchus took Aries by his shirt. "Give it to me!" He yelled. "I don't have it!" Aries yelled back.

The two then got into a yelling match, with Aries being louder. I heard Scorpio muttering to himself. "...I wake up from a peaceful nap to this..." He grumbled. Ophiuchus pushed Aries against the couch he and I were sitting on. The dagger fell out of his pocket. "I knew you had my dagger!" Ophiuchus reached for it, but Aries got it first. "Haha, loser!" Aries laughed. "You're forgetting something. You're holding it by the blade!" Ophiuchus yanked it from Aries' hands, and as a result, his hands were cut. Blood was on the dagger and on Aries' hands. I crouched to him. "Are you okay?" Concern filled my eyes. "I-I'm fine...agh!" Aries had put his hand on his knee to try and get up, but I could tell it hurt. "Here, let me help you." I took his wrists and pulled him up. "Thanks..." He winced at his pain. "Of course, but you need to get that checked out. Go to Nurse- AGH!"

I was pulled back by Ophiuchus. He had his dagger close to my neck. "Let her go!" I saw Sagittarius stomp to Ophiuchus. But Ophiuchus just brought the dagger closer to my neck. "If any of you get any closer, I'll slit her throat." Ophiuchus shrugged. Nobody budged. "Help-"

"SILENCE!" Ophiuchus snapped. "Say another word, and I'll end you life, right here, right now..." His voice was ominous. It scared me. Then Ophiuchus suddenly smirked. "There's something I have that you Zodiacs don't." He chuckled. "And what do you mean by that? I beat you up once, and I can do I again!" Capricorn got in Ophiuchus' face. He glared at her. "I guess you really want your sister to die, huh?" Ophiuchus brought the dagger even closer to my neck. It was so close that I could feel the tip of the blade just faintly touching my neck. I then felt a sudden bit of pain in my neck and felt a small drop of blood drip down my neck. Capricorn gasped and backed away. "You-you wouldn't..." She muttered. "I would, and I will. Just try and touch me and see what happens to your weak little sister." Ophiuchus glared at Capricorn as she backed away, even from within Ophiuchus' grasp, I could see the fear and horror in her eyes. "What I was going to say, is I have inside help." Ophiuchus snapped his fingers, and a glowing light emitted from behind me. He then walked towards it. "Say bye-bye to your wolf friend." Ophiuchus backed up into the light and started to drag me with him! I freed myself from him and leaped outside of the light. Ophiuchus grabbed me by my foot, though, and started dragging me back. "Help!" I yelled. Sagittarius and Capricorn were the first to help drag me back, but eventually, everyone joined in, everyone but Aries.

I saw he was uncertain. "Aries! Help me!" I tried to reach for him. I saw his eyes light up for a bit, then he acted and tried to help me, but I could tell his hands hurt. I managed to grab his wrists. "Pull!" Capricorn leaded everyone. That's what they did. Ophiuchus jumped back through the light and dragged me with both hands, and I saw his dagger in his mouth. He then grinned.

I heard him whisper.

"Trust me..."

Then everything...

Turned...

To white...
