Chapter 13 - The Real World

Virgo's POV

"Capricorn!" Capricorn just fainted, and I had her in my arms. "Oh...my... god..." I heard the shakiness in my own voice. Then I had an idea, I picked her up, bridal style, and started running towards the Nurse's Office. I ran as fast as I could, but then I saw Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius! I couldn't slow myself down. "Watch out!" I yelled as I fell right next to Sagittarius. However, I did keep Capricorn safe. But then a pain came from my elbow. Ugh. I must've scraped it. "Is that Capricorn?!" Sagittarius' voice was filled with concern. I picked myself up, again keeping Capricorn safe, and stood up. "Yes!" I was panting. "She just fainted while we were walking! I don't know what happened!" I explained to him. "Aries, Leo. You guys get to your cars. I'll help you with Capricorn, Virgo." Sagittarius pointed forward, and he and I made our way to the Nurse's Office.

Nurse Columba was outside her office. Sagittarius and I both yelled to her. "It's an emergency!" Sagittarius panted. "Capricorn just fainted on us! I don't know what happened!" I was panicking. "Come in, quickly." Nurse Columba ordered, opening her door back up. We followed. I layed Capricorn down on a bed, and Nurse Columba began checking her breathing and pulse. "She's still breathing, but she's completely unconscious." Nurse Columba looked at both of us. "Will-will she wake up anytime soon?" I hesitantly asked Nurse Columba. "I'm not sure. We'll just have to wait, I'm afraid." Nurse Columba replied. "Why don't you sit down, I can tell that you're worried. That might calm you down a bit." She added. I sighed and did what she requested. By now, I noticed Sagittarius was sitting in the chair next to me. He looked about as worried as I felt. I then remembered my elbow. "Um, Nurse Columba, could you help me? I was so worried about Capricorn that I forgot that I scraped my elbow." I rolled up my sleeve and showed Nurse Columba my scrape. It was bloodied, but it wasn't too big. "Alright, but I'm going to make sure that you didn't break any bones there before I wrap it up." She did a quick X-Ray and she was certain it was just a scrape, she bandaged it up and I rolled my sleeve back down. "Thank you," I muttered as my gaze turned back to Capricorn. Oh, I hope she's okay...

Around 20 minutes had passed, Sagittarius and I had informed our parents of this situation, and the principal allowed us to stay as long as we needed. But, Capricorn still hadn't woken up... I'm so worried about her... Nurse Columba was analyzing Capricorn, checking for wounds, and checking her pulse, breathing, and heartbeat. I looked down. If-if Capricorn didn't make it... "Virgo?" I looked back up and saw Nurse Columba looking at me. "You're shaking. Are you alright?" I rolled up my sleeve, which had previously covered my hand, and I saw Nurse Columba was right. I was shaking. "I-I'm fine, just..." I paused for a moment. Nurse Columba walked up to me and put her hand on my shoulder. "You're worried about Capricorn, aren't you?" I nodded, a sorrowful expression on my face. Nurse Columba then walked over to a small fridge, probably for keeping ice in, took out a water bottle, and gave it to me. "Drink this. It might help calm your nerves." She handed the water bottle to me and I drank some of it. She went back to Capricorn and continued analyzing her. I really hope she's ok...

More minutes passed, around 10. But nothing really changed. Capricorn hasn't woken up, and Sagittarius has gotten increasingly more bored, but he hasn't left, probably because of his care for Capricorn. Nurse Columba is still keeping track of Capricorn. My water bottle was half-empty, and I was still worried about Capricorn... I felt my hope draining out of me every minute.

But then, something insane happened. Capricorn's eyes opened out of nowhere and she started floating?! A lot of rocks and dirt were floating around her, seemingly coming from her hands. Sagittarius and Nurse Columba were freaking out. Capricorn was getting higher. Then her head hit the roof. She stopped floating and instead started falling! I reacted quickly to her falling and closed my eyes and jumped. I opened my eyes and saw I caught her. Capricorn had looked up at me and her eyes widened. I was confused but then I saw I was floating myself! Well, flying actually. My wings were actually able to support me in the air! I flew to the ground and landed. I placed Capricorn on the ground gently. She wobbled and she almost fell, but I caught her. "You ok?" I locked eyes with her. She nodded. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." She balanced herself and smiled at me. I smiled back and hugged her. "I thought you'd never wake up! You passed out on me and Sagittarius and I brought you here. Oh, I'm so glad you're okay!" I just blubbered out words, so relieved Capricorn was okay! "V-Virgo. I can't breathe-" I let her go. "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm just so happy!" I chuckled. "Hey, you're not the only one who's glad to see Capricorn again." Sagittarius rolled his eyes and gave Capricorn a hug. "Yeah, yeah." She punched his arm. "How long was I out for?" Capricorn questioned, straightening her glasses and fixing her hair. "Around 30 or 40 minutes. You were unconscious for a while." Nurse Columba picked up the mess that Capricorn caused by randomly floating to the ceiling. "Yeah, and Virgo was in a constant panic because of how worried he was." Sagittarius laughed. I rolled my eyes. Then I heard Capricorn chuckling and I felt my face getting hot. "Don't be embarrassed, I'm glad you care so much about me." Capricorn scratched the back of her neck, a bit awkwardly. Then I noticed that her cheeks looked red. "Hey, your cheeks look a bit red." I pointed them out. "Oh yeah." Capricorn put her hand on her cheek. "Still hurts..." She mumbled. "What do you mean?" Nurse Columba walked up to us. "Oh, well. Long story short. I suppose you could say, when I passed out, I was transported to another dimension, at least I think my soul was. I was in my body, but I was unconscious here. Anyways, I was slapped, twice. In the same cheek. I think." There was silence. "Well, let me help you." Nurse Columba put two small bandages on Capricorn's cheek. She murmured a thanks to Nurse Columba as we three left, her office.

...Though I feel a bit different...
