A few minutes passed and the lights flickered once more.

Night was beginning.

Min-ji was still sitting in the bedroom, alone. Or so she thought. The fourteenth player was hiding under the bed and had been since the start of the game. They were being hidden by the duvet that was draping over both sides of the bed. Min-ji soon fell asleep, and so did everyone else in the house. She woke up a few hours later, deep into the night, and heard shuffling. She got up and walked around, then went out the bedroom and towards what looked like the kitchen. It was dark and Min-ji could barely see, but her bright red eyes had somewhat adjusted to the darkness.

A couple of minutes later, loud, horrible screams and cries came from the bedroom once again. The same, stomach-wrenching stabbing sounds began, and a girl began shouting, "STOP!" and "DON'T KILL ME, PLEASE!" and her cries echoed off every surface in the house. Everyone in the house was crying and running about trying to figure out who was being killed and where so they could try to intervene and catch the murderer in the act. In all their heads, they knew if they did indeed try to catch the murderer red-handed (ha, ha) that they would probably also get killed. And even if they didn't, it would be hard to see who the murderer was in the pitch black-ness. The screaming eventually ended, and the victim was presumably dead. Everyone was now silent also, as they realised whoever was just killed was now dead. Knowing they couldn't do anything, everyone assumed their original positions and began trying to go to sleep. Except Min-ji. She couldn't go back into the bedroom, where the corpse now was, because if she did, surely people would accuse her of being the murderer, right? So, instead, she went over to the dining table and sat down next to it. It wasn't particularly comfortable, but it was better than nothing. After a little while, Min-ji fell asleep.

She woke up the next morning, a few hours after she had fallen asleep. She didn't end up getting much sleep that night but looked around and noticed she was the only person awake. She hurriedly got up and ran towards the closest person to her: Mason. She shook him a few times, trying to wake him up. He opened his eyes, startled.
"AAA!" he screeched like a little girl, "Oh, hey, Min-ji. You, um- you scared me, haha..."
"Sorry," she replied, "But I think I'm the first person awake so I kinda had to wake someone up." Mason nodded in agreement and got up. He looked down at Min-ji and smiled slightly.
"So, who should we wake up now? I mean, there's a lot of people in here. We've got Charlotte, Aphrodite, Jackson, Veronica, Kai, Zahrah..." he continued to list of the names of everyone in the house until he got to Kiryomi, "Kiryomi and- well, two others." Min-ji just stared at him.
"So who do we wake up first?" she asked bluntly. Mason laughed awkwardly and then shrugged. Min-ji sighed in response and just walked over to the second closest person, Miguel. She shook him and Mason did the same to Kai who was only a few metres away from Miguel. They both woke up and stood up.

"You guys waking everyone up then?" Miguel asked. Min-ji nodded as she turned around and walked towards the empty room. In that room was Veronica and Zahrah who were both still sleeping. Min-ji assumed that the other people awake were going to wake everyone else up. She shook Zahrah and Veronica who both woke up almost instantly. Min-ji explained that she was just going around waking everyone up and that everyone else is in the main room. All three of them stood up and walked into said room. Mason, Miguel, and Kai had woken up Aphrodite, Seungho, Melodie and Kiryomi but hadn't yet woken up Jackson or Charlotte. Was Charlotte the victim of last night's murder? Min-ji strode over to the kitchen, the only place she hadn't checked yet, and thankfully saw both Jackson and Charlotte. Charlotte was curled up in a ball inside the voting closet and Jackson was laying behind the kitchen counter. Min-ji crouched down next to Jackson and shook his shoulder firmly. He opened his eyes and turned to face Min-ji.
"Fuck... Who's there? Oh, shit, hi Min-ji," he said sleepily.
"Hi Jackson. Everyone else is over there if you wanna go join them. I'm just waking everyone up," Min-ji responded.
"Oh, OK. Normally it's the other way around, haha!" Jackson said. He got up and so did Min-ji. They both just awkwardly looked at each other and then went separate ways.
