Back to Hogwarts

Jake was really excited to go back to Hogwarts. He decided to not catch the Hogwarts express to Hogwarts because it wasn't worth it, to tell the truth Jake hated spending hours on a train. He had also managed to become and Animangi over the holidays. He had gotten bored so he decided he'd give it a try and it worked. He takes the form of a wolf. "Dad?" Jake asked.

"Yes?" Severus said as he read a newspaper with sirius black on the cover.

"When are we leaving?" Jake asked. Severus looked at him.

"Not for a while" Severus said before looking back at the daily prophet. Jake stared at Sirius Black's picture.

"Hey dad, you said James Potter and Sirius Black bullied you in school... Did they do it separately or together?" Jake asked. Severus looked up from the daily prophet again and raised his eyebrow.

"They did it together, they were best friends" Severus said. Jake nodded.

"Okay uh tell me when it's time to go" Jake said before turning around and running up the stairs to his room. He closed the door shut behind him and closed his eyes.

"James I need you" he whispered. Jake opened his eyes and James was there.

"Hello Jake" James said with a smile. Jake gave him a small smile.

"Hi, James were you friends with Sirius Black?" Jake asked. James nodded. "Why is he out to kill harry?" Jake asked.

"He's not... Sirius Black is innocent, he never committed any crimes. Listen Jake everyone though Sirius betrayed me but he didn't" James said. "Jake, Sirius Is and Animangi just like you, I need you to find him and speak to him, I suggest sending a letter with Harry's owl, Jerim won't be able to find Sirius" James said before disappearing. Jake collapsed onto his bed. This spiritual thing made him tired. Jake took a 1 hour nap before getting woken up by Severus.

"Come on Jake let's go" Severus said. Jake got up and rubbed his eyes.

Once they got to Hogwarts no one was there yet. Jake thought a lot about what James had told him and he decided he would find Sirius and talk to him. A young man with shaggy black hair and brown eyes came to mind, he remember Sirius from when he was about 2. His thought were interrupted by Dumbledore. "Jake, can I talk to you?" Dumbledore asked. Jake nodded. "I really need you to watch over Harry this year, make sure he doesn't get into any type of trouble"

"Of course sir" Jake said. Dumbledore smiled and patted Jake on the shoulder as he walked away. Jake sat at the Gryffindor table by himself for about 15 minutes, he was reading his new defence against the dark arts book. He really hoped that this year he'd have a good new defence against the dark arts teacher. Last year, Professor Lockhart was fired for being a fraud. Students started to fill the hall and Jake put his book away. Fred and George came and sat next to him.

"You should be happy you didn't catch the train" Fred said shivering abit. George nodded.

"Yeah, there were dementors on the train" George said. "Words going around that your brother fainted and the new defence against the dark arts teacher use a Patronus charm to make the dementor go away" George said with a smile.

"We reckon he's going to be a good defence against the dark arts teacher" Fred said. Jake nodded and looked around for his brother.

"Have you guys seen Harry, Ron and Hermione?" Jake asked. The twins shrugged.

"Professor Mcgonagoll needed to speak with them" Fred said chuckling. "What did they do that we weren't apart of?" Fred asked. Katie then came into the hall and sat next to Jake. Jake kissed her on the cheek. Ron, Harry and Hermione were the last to come into the hall. They sat in the only free seats which was on the other side of the hall. After the sorting ceremony harry came over and sat next to Jake. Fred slid across a bit so harry could sit there.

"Sorry Fred, I'll only be a moment" harry said before sitting down. "Jake I need to talk to you about something really important" harry said in a whisper.

"I already know what you want to speak to me about and it can wait till after dinner" Jake whispered. Harry raised his eyebrow.

"What do I want to speak to you about?" Harry asked.

"Sirius Black" Jake whispered. Harry nodded and stood up. He went back to where he was sitting. Fred leaned over.

"What was that about?" Fred asked. Jake knew he could tell the twins mostly anything so he told him. "Oh, how does he know that he's out to kill him?" Fred asked. George hit him.

"Don't you listen to anything Freddie" George said with a smirk. Fred glared at him. "Didn't you hear dad speaking to him about it?" George asked.

"No" Fred said cluelessly.

"Well dad warned him not to go after black, I mean who would be that idiotic anyway" George said. Jake couldn't help but chuckle, he knew sirius black was innocent. He just wasn't telling anyone because he knew they wouldn't believe him.

After dinner Jake and Harry went into an empty classroom to talk. "Jake did you know that Sirius Black is out to kill us both?" Harry asked. Jake chuckled.

"I have heard, though I don't believe it" Jake said smirking.

"Why not?" Harry asked cluelessly.

"Why would someone risk losing there soul just to kill two untrained wizards?" Jake asked. "I think he's just going to go into hiding"

"Well I believe that he will kill or will try to kill us, Jake can you please just promise me to be careful?" Harry asked, Jake nodded although he wasn't really going to be careful.

"Oh harry, before we go back to the common room, I want to tell you something" Jake said smirking. Harry nodded. "Over the holidays I have become an animangus" Jake said

"What's that?" Harry asked confused.

"You don't know what that is?" Jake asked. Harry shock his head. Jake smiled. He then jumped up and turned into a wolf before Harry's eyes.

"Wow!" Harry said. "That's just like professor Mcgonagoll" harry said amazed. Jake transformed back. "Do you like your animangus form?" Harry asked.

"Yes, I especially like the white fur" Jake said smiling. "I was suppose to help Katie turn into one and you know we could do it together but I got bored over the summer holidays" Jake said. Harry nodded understanding. "Katies going to be angry" Jake said.

"Just don't tell her" harry said. "You can just act like you're turning into one with her"

"That's a good idea you know, but um I think she has forgotten about it" Jake said. Harry nodded.

Katie saw Hermione and ran up to her. "Hey Hermione I need to tell you something" Katie said. Hermione looked at her questionably. Katie pulled Hermione into an empty classroom.

"What is it Katie?" Hermione asks confused. Katie sighed and turned into a white rabbit. Hermione gasped. Katie turned back and looked at Hermione with pleading eyes.

"Please don't tell jake"
