Jake decided he'd use a type of code language. He asked James before doing the letter if he'd understand it and James said he would. Also with the dementors surrounding the school more securely now Jake was worried that maybe they would get caught. Jake was happy when Jerim came back with a reply only 5 minutes later, sirius must be close by. Jake almost thought that he had to get Hedwig again but when Jerim came back with a reply he knew that Jerim was just as good as Hedwig.

Yeah sure but don't transform into human form until I tell you, Don't worry, our letters won't be intercepted as I am on school grounds

Jake calmed down abit and he chose not to reply to this. Jake made his way to transfiguration after ripping the letter up and burning it, he wanted no evidence that he was contacting someone. Jake sat in transfiguration next to Katie, he wasn't paying attention because he was thinking about his meeting with Sirius. "Mr. Snape can you tell me how you can tell between and animangi and a real animal" professor Mcgonagoll said snapping Jake out of his thoughts.

"Uh, an Animangi has the features of the person who has turned into the animal, for example when you turn into a cat, the fur around your eyes looks like glasses" Jake said hoping he got it right. He had studied Animangi for so long and he was hoping he wasn't making fool out of himself.

"Correct and 10 points to Gyffindor" professor mcgonagoll said turning on her heel and walking back to the front of the class. Jake sighed of relief. Katie turned to him with an eyebrow raised.

"You need to pay attention" Katie said sternly. Jake groaned and put his head on the desk.

"I know but I'm just thinking about a lot of stuff at the moment" Jake mumbled. Katie frowned.

"What are you keeping from me?" Katie asked. Jake looked at her and knew he couldn't lie to her and plus he didn't have the energy for lying at the moment.

"I'm keeping two things from you and I'll tell you some other time" Jake mumbled. Katie rolled her eyes.

"Why not now?" Katie asked. Jake put his head back on the desk.

"We're in class at the moment and I don't feel like discussing it in class, I also don't want you to freak out and embarrass yourself in front of the class" Jake said truthfully.

"Sometimes I wish you weren't as Candid" Katie mumbled. Jake smirked.

At lunch Katie started nagging Jake to tell her what he was up to and he decided he tell her only one of the things so he took her to the lake. "What is it Jake?" Katie asked.

"I turned into an animangus during the summer holidays" Jake said calmly. Katie stared at him for a moment and sighed with relief. Jake looked at her confused.

"That's great because I did too" Katie said smiling. Jake smiled aswell.

"Oh and the other thing i was keeping from you is that the other night I wasn't sleeping in the forbidden Forrest... I was testing out my Animagus form" Jake said not completely lying. Katie nodded. This seemed pretty legit and he knew Katie believed him.

"Oh good, you know, Harry was telling Ginny this morning that he was suspicious that you were doing something stupid" Katie said. Jake chuckled.

"I wouldn't blame him" Jake said licking his lips and chucking. "He's Harry Potter, he has trust issues"

That night Jake made his way outside after dinner. It had been exactly a week since he had seen Sirius and Jake decided to bring him some food. Jake had a bag and he put and expanding spell on it. He would put food In containers when people weren't looking and then he'd put it into the bag. "Ey Jake, you don't have to take the food" Fred said with a chuckle. "You do realise you can just got to the kitchens, the house elves will make you anything" Fred said with another chuckle.

"Yeah Jake, all you need to do is go to where the Hufflepuff dormitories are and you'll see a fruit bowl portrait... All you have to do is tickle the pear" George said with a smirk.

"Just tickle the pear" Fred said humourlessly. Jake laughed and nodded.

"Thanks guys I'll think of that next time" Jake said getting up and putting his bag on his back. Fred looked at George and gave him a look. George nodded.

"Hey Jake, can we talk to you in private for a short second?" Fred asked. Jake looked at them weirdly and nodded. Hopefully this was quick because Jake had to go meet sirius. They walked to the nearest broom closet. George pulled out a piece of parchment from his pocket before they shut the door. Then it was pitch black. "Lumus" Fred said and his wand lit up.

"This piece of parchment here is very special and we want to give it to you" George said. Jake looked at him weirdly. Fred chuckled and nudge George. George got out his wand and pointed it at the parchment. "I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good" George said. Ink started to appear on the parchment and Jake saw the writing say 'Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot & Prongs are proud to present the marauders map'

"Who are moony, Wormtail, padfoot and prongs" Jake asked although he knew that Sirius called himself padfoot, he had no idea if he had helped make this map. Fred and George put their hands over there hearts.

"The people that have got us around the school without getting caught" Fred said smiling. "Of course we don't know who they are but we uh got this map from filch's office" Fred said proudly. Jake chuckled and nodded.

"So what does it do?" Jake asked curiously. George smiled.

"Well my friend, this lovely map here is a map of the school and it shows you who is where and all the secret passage ways" George said. Jake smiled. This was exactly what he needed, he took the map and looked at it and saw Dumbledore pacing in his office. Jake looked up.

"How do you make the writing disappear?" Jake asked. Fred smirked and pointed his wand towards the parchment.

"Mischief managed" then the writing disappeared.

Jake made his way to the forbidden Forrest just before curfew. He ran to the forbidden Forrest with his bag full of food and transformed into his wolf form. It looked weird having a wolf there with a bag on his back but no body was there to see him. Sirius (in his dog form) came out of the bushes and motioned Jake to follow him. They made their way to the whomping willow and into a small tunnel under a root in the tree. They walked through the tunnel in their animal form for about 3 minutes before ending up in a house. Sirius transformed and so did Jake. "Where are we?" Jake asked. Sirius looked at him suspiciously.

"The shrieking shack" Sirius said realising that he can trust Jake. Jake nodded and took the bag off his back and handed it to Sirius.

"It's got food in it" Jake said. Sirius' eyes widened and he opened the bag and took out a container with chicken drumsticks in it.

"Thank you so much, I haven't eaten for days" Sirius said as he scoffed down the chicken. Jake chuckled and looked around the house. There were scratch marks on the walls and broken furniture.

"What have you been doing in here?" Jake asked with a chuckle. Sirius looked around and shrugged.

"It wasn't me, it was your professor"

"Which one" Jake aske.

"Lupin... Moony" sirius said with a chuckle. "One of my best friends he was" sirus said now eating mashed potatoes.

"Moony?" Jake said taking out the piece of parchment in his pocket. "I solemnly swear I'm up to no good" Jake said pointing his wand at the parchment.

"Where did you get that from?" Sirius asked looking at the piece of parchment wide eyed.

"So you are one of the creators?" Jake asked. Sirius nodded.

"James is Prongs, Peter is Wormtail" Sirius said clenching his fists at the last name.

"Mischief managed" Jake said before putting the parchment back in his pocket. "About Wormtail, he seems to have run away" Jake said. "I can't find the stupid Rat"

"I have an idea" Sirius said.
