Warming Up To You

Chapter 8

Bakugou was sitting on his bed with his leg bouncing up and down. He remembered EVERYTHING he sad and did while Todoroki came in his room yesterday. It was so embarrassing he could die. Class was going to start soon and at this point he'd probably be late. He got his phone out and dialed Kirishimas number. Kirishima instantly answered.

"Hey bro! How are you? How was it with Todoroki yesterday? You two made up?"

Bakugou raised his eyebrow.

"Wait- how did you know that??"

"I ran into him when I was going to check up on you."

"Mm..."

"Oh! Anyways, what did you call about?"

"Kirishima I can't fucking see him today."

"Todoroki?? Whyy I thought you guys made up??" Kirishima frowned.

"Well I guess we did.. but I did some really cringey shit and If I saw him now I wouldn't know how to fucking act."

" Hmmm.."

"I don't think Todoroki would mind! Maybe he totally forgot about it! He is sorta absent minded y'know?"

Bakugou stood up and got his bag.

"Maybe..thanks.." Bakugou wasn't used to thanking people, but he's been working on it.

" No prob Bakubro! See ya in class!!"

They hung up and Bakugou left his room. Maybe Todoroki did forget.

He didn't.

Todoroki kept replaying their almost kiss yesterday and it was consuming his thoughts. What would Bakugous lips feel like. Chapped? Or like the cherry flavored chapstick he saw in his bag the other day. Todoroki was standing outside of the class door fiddling with his hair. He couldn't stop thinking about it. Suddenly he was startled by seeing Bakugou make his way to the classroom. Both of them stiffened when they met eyes.

Should I say hi? Todoroki stopped playing with his hair and awkwardly waved at Bakugou. Bakugou smiled a bit and patted his shoulder.

"You look like you're about to shit your pants. Were good man."

Todoroki smiled his biggest one yet making Bakugous ears red.

"W-Whatever.." Bakugou stomps off to his desk and puts his head down.

After being taught their new lesson they could either work alone or work with a partner. Todoroki wanted to work with Bakugou, but was still feeling a bit on edge. Kirishima saw Todoroki looking at Bakugous direction and a smirk grew on his face. He went to Todoroki and nudged him on the shoulder.

"Dude just go and ask if you wanna work together!!"

"I don't know." Todoroki rubbed the shoulder Kirishima just nudged.

"Just go!!" Kirishima pushed Todoroki towards Bakugous desk and Bakugou looks up confused.

"Have fun!" Kirishima smiled. This is definitely pushing them towards the right direction.

Todoroki then sat in front of Bakugou and started to do his work. Bakugou looked at him a little. Its no lie that Todoroki is attractive. Seeing it up close though, made Bakugou a little flustered. Bakugou tried to play it cool and say something nice about his face, but failed miserably.

"Your bangs."

Todoroki tilted his head. "What about them?"

"Uh, they've gotten long. Can you even see?" Really Bakugou? Thats the best you can come up with?
