Ever since the day he spent with Camie, Bakugo was feeling very confused about his own feelings. So much so that it was starting to become a huge distraction. She made sure to text him daily, Bakugo mostly leaving her on read, though it gave him a strange feeling of happiness whenever he saw a new message from her. He was starting to wonder if he should do anything about this new feeling, but he had no idea how to handle it at all.

"Uh...Bakugo?" an irritating voice broke him from his thoughts.

"What?" Bakugo annoyedly asked, giving Kirishima a scowl.

"Didn't you want to practice early today? You've kinda just been staring at the floor the whole time," Kirishima replied, looking confused.

"I was forming a strategy!" Bakugo lied, crossing his arms.

"Really? So you're saying it takes you this long to try and figure out how to defeat me? I must have gotten stronger than I thought!" Kirishima responded, grinning as he hardened his skin.

Kaminari, Mina, Jiro, Uraraka, Midoriya, and Sero all entered the gym, their hero costumes on. It looked like class had officially started. Bakugo wanted to get an early start with Kirishima and practice a little to get his mind off of his new feelings, but it ended up backfiring completely. He sighed.

"Whatever, let's just do this now!" Bakugo shouted, exploding himself off the ground and towards Kirishima.

He started with his famous right hook, Kirishima able to take his hit easily. Bakugo knew it was mostly a matter of wearing him down, so he rapidly fired his explosions on Kirishima, him only able to stand there and take it. At least that's what Bakugo expected him to do. Apparently Kirishima had gotten stronger. He hardened his skin even more, then used his boulder-like fist to punch Bakugo directly in the gut, sending him flying backwards. He hit the wall and collapsed on the ground, coughing as Kirishima crossed his arms.

"Jeez, I knew I got better, but I never expected you to go down so easily! Are you sure you're okay, Bakugo?" Kirishima asked.

"I didn't expect you to do go on the offensive like that!" he defensively responded, slowly lifting himself off of the floor.

"I thought you said you were forming a strategy this whole time!" Kirishima exclaimed, "Seriously man, is something wrong? You're not acting like yourself."

Midoriya was watching the fight and immediately knew something was off. Bakugo always gave everything his all, he always had the sharpest battle instinct of anyone else in their class. There's no way Kirishima should have been able to counter him so quickly and easily. Not unless Bakugo wasn't trying. Midoriya ran up to him, offering a hand to help Bakugo off the floor.

"Kacchan, are you okay?" he asked, outstretching his hand.

Bakugo immediately knocked Midoriya's hand away out of instinct, getting to his feet himself.

"Get away from me, Deku! I'm fine!" he shouted, the familiar feeling of anger towards his rival making him feel a little better.

"No, something's wrong. Tell us what's going on, we can help you," Midoriya firmly responded, not caring if Bakugo was mad at him or not.

It mattered more to him that he was okay. Even if he ended up getting punched in the face because of it, Midoriya still wanted to help his friend out. He remembered what happened to Iida, Todoroki, and even himself, and they all had their friends to help them go through each of their different problems together. He wanted to keep it that way.

"Midoriya's right, now that I think about it, you've been acting weird for a while. It just seems worse today," Kirishima agreed.

"What's going on?" Uraraka asked, her, Mina, and Kaminari joining them, Jiro and Sero trailing behind.
