Mirio gestured toward Eri as if unveiling a prized treasure. She stood in front of Tamaki and Nejire in her little red dress, unsure of what was going on.

"Awwwwww, it's Eri!!! She's sooo cute!" Nejire exclaimed, giving Eri a big hug.

"Hi, Eri. I'm not normally good with kids, but I'm glad we were able to rescue you," Tamaki told her, stooping down to her level, giving her a shy smile.

"Mr. Aizawa wanted me to take care of her today while he did some pro hero work, so she'll be with us while we hang out. Are you guys cool with that?" Mirio asked them, giving Eri a reassuring smile.

"Of course we are! We can do fun stuff, like playing dress up!" Nejire suggested, patting Eri on the head.

"What's 'dress up'?" Eri asked, looking up at Mirio for an explanation.

"Uh...I'm not really the best person to ask, it's kind of a girl thing," Mirio answered, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Dress up is when you try on different clothes and get your hair done all fancy!" Nejire explained, giving Eri a sweet smile.

"Like what you did at the festival?" Eri pieced together.

"Exactly! Except, it would be only in front of us three, not a big group of people," she confirmed, standing up.

"Oh," Eri said, unsure of how to feel about this.

"Come on, lets go to the dressing room!"

Nejire took Eri's hand and lead her to the same room in the school where she herself tried on different dresses for the beauty pageant. Inside this room was a tailor who worked for the school, making custom uniforms to fit each student, special outfits and costumes for special events, and sometimes even made official hero costumes. Because Eri was now living at UA, this tailor had made her plenty of dresses and outfits for her to wear that were all hanging in a rack in the room, completely finished.

"Wow, Eri, look at all these dresses! Look how pretty they are! Don't you want to try them on?" Nejire exclaimed, looking at each of Eri's dresses.

"You should do her hair first," Tamaki quietly suggested, remembering how it went when Nejire and the other girls dressed up for the beauty pageant.

"Good idea!" Nejire replied, grabbing a brush and some hair accessories.

She started brushing through Eri's hair and braiding it into an intricate fishtail.

"Hey, how are you doing that?! Your fingers move so fast!" Mirio exclaimed, watching Nejire work in awe.

"What's she doing?" Eri asked nervously, afraid she was going to hurt her.

"She's making your hair look really pretty, Eri! When she's all done, you'll look like a princess!" Mirio promised, smiling at her.

"A princess?" Eri repeated, smiling a little.

"That gives me an idea!" Mirio announced, his smile growing wider as he quickly grabbed a costume off of the racks and ran behind the curtain of a changing room.

Nejire weaved sparkly gems and beads into Eri's hair as she braided, finishing by tying up the end of the long braid with a pretty pink bow. For the final touch, Nejire placed the tiara she got from winning the beauty pageant on Eri's head.

"Perfect! Now go ahead and pick one of those dresses to wear!" Nejire instructed, gesturing at all the dresses.

Eri looked at each of them thoroughly, finally deciding on a sparkly purple dress.
