WISHFUL-THINKER-10 POV

- Won't you erase that stupid smile from your mouth?

- Arlene, anybody would say you don't want me to be happy.

I was not in the mood that morning and actually I did know the reason. I had slept so badly and that annoying girl's self confidence smile, pissed me off. That's all.

- Who the hell is happy in this world and why?

- Oh, pour l'amour de Dieu. You're bringing me down. Come on, ask me the question you can't wait to ask me.

- I don't want to ask you any question. In fact I wish I hadn't seen your face for a change.

- Yes, you can't wait to find out why I am so cheerful.

- You will tell me about it anyway, won't you?

- Ready? Freddie and Jim met up last night.

- How do you know?

- I can read between lines.

- Who have given you that information? Prenter? Phoebe? Joe? Won't you answer?

- Freddie.

- Has Freddie told you that? I don't believe it.

- Of course he hadn't told me that. He just said a sentence that opened up my eyes.

- Oh, jeez. Enlighten me -I couldn't help but rolling my eyes.

- He said he was fortunate to have family and friends around to recall him he's not so irresistible as he thought

- He said he was fortunate to have family and friends around to recall him he's not so irresistible as he thought.

- Is that your big clue? Amondine, your whole year within Turn back the Time is taking its toll on you. You are like those crazy people who are looking for a sign to corroborate all their obsessions.

- Are you telling I'm nuts?

- I'm just saying you are stubbornly looking for something to comfort you and make sure what you want to believe and any sentence Freddie would have spoken, you would have turn into the definitive clue of your suspicions. Just to relieve your mind.

- Do you think Freddie didn't meet Jim last night?

- What's the difference if they met? He just rejected him, for Christ's sake. Stop magnify that meeting. The Irish rejected him. That's what happened. That's all.

- So? That's what happened and what should happen in our history too. Though you have tried to stop it.

I took a deep breath and tried to count to three because I haven't met anyone like this annoying woman with whom I had less patience.

- Don't start all over. I don't wanna fight with you. You're always saying you don't start the fight but that's not true.

- Girls, I've caught you having an argument again. What's wrong? -Elideth joined in.
