Chapter 25

(Ya'll i'm back with a 1000+ word chapter, stop blowing my notifications up pls)

Lizzie pov

A small and light breeze blew across over Lizzie yet she shivered, she wasn't used to this kind of weather with her reasoning being the fact that she is used to warmer areas and less chilly ones.

Thankfully, Gem informed the group that they were soon reaching a warmer environment as they got closer to the only portal Gem knew could bring them to Xornoth's realm

She sped her dragon up, quickly regretting it as the breeze became cooler but she couldn't miss her shot to ask questions knowing full well Gem would speed up again to lead the group

"How far are we till the portal?" She yelled, her voice almost being lost in the winds that the dragons were stirring up

"Almost there! Just a few hundred more blocks until we reach it! Until then, please bear with the weather" Gem yelled back before speeding up just like Lizzie predicted (yes it's bear not bare, I googled it)

Soon the atmosphere got a lot warmer and Lizzie was able to control her dragon perfectly fine without shivering and risking the chance of falling off

She also saw her husband Joel, who was now a lot further than he was before. Most likely due to the fact that he too, was currently residing in a hotter biome

Thankfully, due to this weather change they were able to pause on a grassy area and rest with the dragons needing to regain their now depleted energy

Gem estimated that they had until tommorow afternoon before the dragons could get enough rest to continue the energy however before she could continue explaining, Lizzie's brother. Jimmy interrupted 

"We literally have our loved ones being held in the hands of a demon! Why do we have to wait until tommorow to continue? Can't you just use your magic to help the dragons regain their energ faster?" He said, clearly frustrated. Lizzie had to definitely teach him some manners while addressing the head witch of their server

Gem on the other hand, shot Jimmy a glare "Before I was interrupted, I can't use magic as it's too dangerous, Xornoth may sense it and attack another one of our members or my spell may fail and kill our only form of transportation for harsh weather or long distances." She said before using her staff to spawn tents out of thin air and regrouping the dragons

"I'm going to find our dragons a place to rest, for now all of you need sleep. We may have to fight Xornoth to get our friends back and i'm not leading a group of energy-depleted people into war" and then she dissapeared into the forest

Their tents weren't all that bad, just a but of adjustments here and there and Lizzie might consider buying this tent from Gem, if only it had more functionality, and not made out of air

She quickly found her bed and took off the bun she had wrapped her hair into to help push the hair out of her face before flopping onto the bed and messaging Jimmy

<Ldshadowlady>  Hey you okay?

<SolidarityGaming>  Yeah, just worried

<Ldshadowlady>  It's gonna be okay, remember, Fwhip got pulled                                                 down too. I'm very sure that if Gem could, she would                                       be using all of her magic to get us there by now. Just                                       hang in there okay?

Her tent remained dead silent as she waited for her baby brother to respond to which he did, moments later

<Ldshadowlady>  No problem

And with those last few words sent, she put her communicater away and got ready for what was most likely going to be her worst week ever

Scott pov

wake up..

Wake up..

WAKE UP

Scott woke up to the sound of shouting, as he slowly opened his eyes he saw Fwhip staring down on him shaking him rapidly

The moment Fwhip saw Scott's eyelids prise open he immediately called over Joey and Sausage who were sitting nearby

Scott slowly (and not effectively) tried to stand up, with him ending up falling back on the ground 

Luckily, Sausage was able to catch him and Joey helped Scott onto his feet

"Thanks Joey, where are we?" Scott asked looking around, it was just a pitch black void that seemed infinite, reddish tentacles grew from the ground with the same pitch black rocks scattered around

Fwhip shook his head "We're in Xornoth's realm, we wre captured because we all mean something to Xornoth. You guys were most likely to safeguard, or torture, I don't know"

Joey slapped Fwhip on the back of his head "Idiot! The man just woke up!"

Sausage smiled at the two before turning to Scott "I won't disagree with Fwhip, we all have some importance to Xornoth when he was still free, you being his brother, Joey being his ex, and me being his ex-follower" He smirked as he stared at Fwhip "Fwhip is most likely for leverage against Gem"

Fwhip stopped fighting with Joey and instead stared at Sausage with an angry face "Why you- get back here!"

Before the two could go at it, a low voice rumbled across the black void and Scott immediately recognized it to be the old voice of Xornoth, when he was still human

"Wow, you four are smarter than I thought, indeed Fwhip and Sausage are right, I'm keeping you lot here because you mean something to me, but that doesn't mean I'll treat you all with kindness"

Scott growled at the direction of the voice "Show your ass Xornoth, I know this is just a mind game, now let us out!" He said, stepping infront of the other three

A towering and lanky figure appeared just a few feet infront of him, instead of just standing there he started walking towards Scott "My my brother, that is no way to address your elder brother who loves you so much is it?" 

The demon was now standing directly infront of him, casting a shadow upon the small group who Scott was protecting

 "I dragged you down here so you wouldn't get hurt amongst all the war and chaos!" The demon smiled, caressing his cheek. Scott was so tempted to pull the rune blade out and slice him but he knew it wouldn't be that easy and would most likely end up in the others getting hurt, instead he slapped his brother's hand away

"Shut up, I'm not falling for that trick again, nor am I gonna let them fall for it too" As he said that, he could feel Joey's grip on his coat as Fwhip stood closer to the side of Scott with his sword drawn

"Exactly what he said demon, now get me and them out of here immediately! We don't need your damn protection"

Xornoth stared down at the man in disgust "Now when did I say you were going to be protected like them?" As he said those words he snapped his fingers and a long tentacle appeared to drag Fwhip away

Scott tried to cut the tentacle but it was too fast and quickly pulled Fwhip away, with Sausage in tears

Xornoth walked towards Scott who was now glaring at him angrily "Now now, don't get too worked up! I simply locked him away, as for you three, well I hope you enjoy pain dear brother, because this is gonna hurt"
