A few weeks ago you had been introduced to what you could assume were probably the most irritating and irrational guys you had the unfortunate pleasure of knowing. Your sister Cosette had been dancing around a courtship with Marius for about a week before you meet the crazy idiots Marius called friends.

Marius's friends were Courtfeyrac, Grantaire, and Enjolras. If you had to pick which one was your favorite you would say Enjolras.

Your mother Fantine loved the idea of Marius and Cosette. Your father Jean hated it but trusted you more than anything so when they wanted to be together you had the 'privilege' to accompany them.

In reality your mother hoped that maybe going with Cosette and Marius would help you find love.

Now you were not biologically Fantine's or Jean's daughter. You were abandoned by your biological mother when you were a baby and you had no idea who your father was. Jean took you in around your third birthday, probably from pity but who were you to complain.

Two years later your father meet Fantine and her daughter Cosette. You never really understand how they came to be married. You thought it was due to circumstances but they really seemed to love eachother. Now several years later your sister Cosette wanted to marry Marius. A man she meet only two weeks ago.

So here you were in a chair bored out of your mind half listening to Marius's friends talk about revolutions and Napoleon. All the while Marius and Cosette were what you would describe as trying to kiss but not kiss. It was very weird and uncomfortable to watch. You barely heard the conversation shift to love and relationships as your y/e/c eyes scanned the room. A few minutes had passed when your father came in and collected Cosette.

"Cosette, father is here. Please tell him I wish to stay a little longer and that Enjolras will see me home." You told your sister as she stood up.

Enjolras watched you as you watched Cosette and Marius walk towards your father. He had meet your dad a few times and they got along seemingly well.

Your father would never admit it but if he had to choose someone for you it would be Enjolras. He liked him considerably more then he did Marius. Once Cosette, Marius, and your father left you stole a sip from Enjolras's drink.

You sigh and rolled your eyes at something Grantaire said. You always thought love was for children and you weren't a child.

Grantaire was a hopeless romantic but could never seem to get or keep a woman's attention. And Courtfeyrac was something else completely. He chased women but didn't stick around long enough to feel love. Enjolras didn't seem like he even wanted a woman or their attention. It intrigued you to some degree

Now you had nickname for Enjolras. You called him enjol often and he allowed it. Little did you know that you were the only person he would ever allow to call him anymore other then Enjolras.

"Whats wrong Y/n? Is their conversation about love boring you?" Enjolras asked you low enough that the others wouldn't hear but loud enough for you to catch. Once he had turned his head towards you he gave you a small smile. You leaned back slightly to converse with the man beside you.

"No it's just their concepts of love irritate me." You replied.

"Oh really? And why is that? Don't you want to find someone eventually?" Enjolras asked you curiously.
