-ANGST-FLUFF AT THE END

It had been a total of 5 months 12 days 7 hours 35 minutes and 15 seconds since Joseph had walked out our front door. Since our relationship ended. And that man plagued my every waking and sleeping second.
The two of you had hit a cross roads in your relationship. You wanted marriage and kids and you were willing to wait. Joseph on the other had didn't know if that's what he had wanted. Both of you were at the night of your acting careers.
His took off before yours but you diligently stood beside him. What you didn't know was that one of the main reasons Joseph ended things was because he didn't want to hold you back.
So here you were 5 months later, feeling like the best part of you was ripped out. You had just entered the (your favorite restaurant) and got your take home. As you headed to the door a voice cut through you sending chills everywhere through your body. The same voice you longed to hear again.
"Y/n?" Joseph spoke in a soft tone. You plastered a fake smile on your face as you turned around.
"Joseph? Hey it's been forever." You tried to his the crack in your voice.
"Ya it has been hasn't it." His voice could make you forget your own name. Just as you we're about to say something a woman joined him. You hadn't noticed the guy approaching.
"You going to introduce your friend Joseph." A girl with blackish hair said. A small smile graced her perfect face. She looked amazing honestly.
"Oh Um. Y/n this is Jess." His eyes never left your face. You willed the tears to stay away for a little longer. You assumed he had moved on and that killed any will to live or love in your body.
"I'm sorry I have to go." You ushered the words out fast as the first set of tears made their presence in your now very watery eyes. You turned away and almost ran as the tears finally fell. In your haste you missed the heartbreak on Joseph's face but he didn't miss the soft sob that left your mouth as you ran away from him.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow ya?" Joseph said watching you as you left the restaurant.
"Was that her?" Jess asked him.
"Ya and I need to make this right." Joseph whispered his heart breaking all over again.
"Go get her mate. You both need eachother." The guy had said to his friend.
"Thanks Jamie." Joseph didn't wait for a response as he ran after you.
"Y/N!" Joseph yelled as he tried to catch up to you. You made it to your front door before he wrapped his hand around your upper arm. He tugged you backwards to face him.
"Don't touch me!" You raised your voice as you pushed him away. His closeness almost made your knees buckle. You saw his face fall.
"Can we...can we talk please?" His voice barely a whisper. You took in his appearance. His brown hair disheveled, he looked tired, his chocolate brown eyes filled with unshed tears. All you could do was nod as you moved to unlock the door.
The two of you entered the house. He noticed that you hadn't moved a single thing. All of the pictures of you both still hung up on the walls. You moved to the kitchen and he followed trying to find the right words. As he thought about how to say what he had practiced in his head several times you broke the silence. You voice cut him to his core.
"Do you remember when you loved me?" You voice drenched in sadness. You sounded defeated like you had given up on everything. To be fair you had but he didn't know that. It reminded him of the night he left. The worst night of his life. Your voice still ran in his ears like a blood rush.
