Bake-Off. 1

This chapter may not make much sense if you haven't watched the Eboys bake off video, but it's fine just try follow along.

Chapter 6,

~Third person POV~

George sits in his room, nervous for the day ahead.

He didn't have much time to sit and think about everything because the Eboys have to film a video today.

- Time skip about 2 hours -

*Knock knock*

"Yes Alex?"

"Hiii, you ready to go film?"

"Yeah, let's go"

They both go and wait for Will, because neither of them can drive.

Will finally arrives and they enter his car,
Alex sitting in the front next to Will, George in the back.

"Gotta love the Belle Delphine car" Will laughs,

"True" Alex laughs along.

Will looks in his rear view mirror at George, only to see him asleep, head against the window.

Will turns to Alex and quietly says,

"What's up with him?"

"He's just been through a lot in the last 2-3 days, not my place to say it though" Alex responds

"Oh, well I hope he's alright for todays video"

"He said he was fine earlier to film, so it should be fine"

They pick up James along the way too, since he can't drive either.

James also asks the same questions as Will, Alex responding with the same explanation that he gave to Will.

After about 20 minutes they arrive at the place,

"Georgeeee, we're here you have to wake up now" James says as he nudges George gently in the shoulder.

Georges eyes squint as he readjusts to the light, simply putting a tired thumbs up in response to James.

They get into the kitchen and James Empties out the bag he brought with all the ingredients, giving them to the people who need them.

They start filming the video, and introduce Theo baker, their judge.

Now the funny thing about Theo is, he hates jam.

James knew this, so his Victoria sponge, which normally contains jam, he has changed to biscoff.

However,

He got to decide what everyone made since it was his week.

So he gave Will some Bourbon brownies, George a millionaire shortbread, and Alex,

A giant jam tart.

Alex was unaware of Theo's hate for jam.

They start baking and George quickly becomes aware of the fact that the place they're cooking in, is in front of a courtyard, where everyone can see him.

If you didn't know, George is very socially awkward, and more anxious than you'd think.

So when people look in the window, and take a photo or video, George can feel his heart rate spike.
