Sweet melody - Jungmo

A/N: Alright, first of all, my period has started to come once again and not to mention, without a warning label. Like the minute that I checked, it was just gushing out blood and everything. 

But apart for that, I have some news for everyone! But we have a story, so let's get to it!

After a night of anxius waiting, when the viewer numbers from the TV station finally came in, everyone couldn't help but cheer. 

"Great work, everyone! How about we throw a party next week to celebrate?" I asked. 

"Seconded! That's a fantastic idea!" Kiki shot her hand up. 

"Wait for Y/N to finish." Anna gave them both a whap on the head. 

"Anna, please sort out the venue, if you wouldn't mind. When a time is confirmed, I'll let everyone know." I said. 

Leaving an office full of cheering co-workers behind me, I practically ran out of the room and hurried down to the street outside of the building. 

Spring had silently crept up, seemingly over night. Ever since CRAVITY "sequestered" themselves to work on their album commerating the anniversary of their career debut, it had been weeks since we'd seen each other. 

I took out my phone, and a face I'd yearned to see for a long time floated up in my mind---- those chocolate-brown eyes, his smiling face..... 

With that thought, I dialed his number without hestiation. 

Y/N, you finally called! 

Jungmo's voice sounded excited, and in the background, I could hear the sound of a pile of things falling down. 

What was that? 

....It's okay! I just accidentally knocked over some stuff piled up on the table. 

You're okay then? 

I'm fine, but the notebook we were writing new songs in seems to have been burried at the bottom...

I couldn't help but crinkle my eyes in a smile at the end of disappointed tone. 

Are the new songs coming along well? 

Yeah! Out of ten, we'd give ourselves an eight, so we've still gotta keep working those other two points! But this tiem clock really is ticking. I expect to be busy for the foreseeable future. 

Time really is tight if you're going to make it in time to release on the day of your debut anniversary. But I'm really looking forward to this new album! 

But.... it's been weeks since we've seen you. Y/N, we really miss you. 

Actually..... actually next week----

Just as I started saying it, I suddenly stopped myself. 

Next week what? 

In an instant, a myriad of thoughts flashed through my mind. In the end, I pursed my lips together and pushed back the urge to invite him to our celebratory party. 

Nothing! You keep working, but remember to eat and sleep when you're supposed to. And also.... I've missed you guys too. 

My cheeks flushed red, and my voice had lowered to a whisper. A second later, I heard the sound of soft laughter come from the other end.
