A sigh came from you as I walked into the apartment to see that the room was empty, I had been hoping for an appearance from Dejun after a long day, but instead I was greeted by nothing but silence.
Dejun had already let you know that it wouldn't be too long until he came home, promising that he would be able to put the smile back on my face. I was intrigued to say the least desperate to see what he had up his sleeve.
After sorting yourself out, the key entered the apartment door once again, racing through to see Dejun walk in. He was oblivious to me as he kept his eyes back out in the corridor of my apartment block, keeping my surprise well hidden from me.
As I cleared my throat however to get his attention, Dejun looked across with a smile as he saw that you were already home.
(A/N: Wow...... amazing.....)

He extended his arm out for me to take his hand, shielding me from the door though so that I couldn't take a peek.
"How was your day?" Dejun asked, although he already knew the answer after my phone call earlier in the day. "Don't worry, I promise that I'm about to make your day better."
"What have you been up to you?" I questioned, noticing the smirk that was on his face, "what's so important about this which means you can't give it to me on Christmas."
Dejun's head shook back at me, "they run a very tight schedule, I was left with no other choice but to collect your present today," he informed me, squeezing against my hand.
My head nodded back at me as the anticipation continued to build inside of me, bouncing around nervously on my feet. Dejun loved seeing how excited I was, hoping that the present would be above my wildest expectations.
"Are you ready to see what I've got you for Christmas Y/N?"
"I've been ready ever since you rang me earlier," I cried out, jabbing my free hand against his waist, "this isn't going to be some sort of prank, is it?"
A chuckle immediately came from Dejun in reply, "I promise that this is not a prank, just take a step back and I'll show you what it is that I've got for you."
"Alright, but if it is a prank, you better make sure you run."
Dejun didn't have to move a muscle though as he leaned down to open up the box that my present was in, allowing the westie that he had picked up from the dog shelter to run into my home sprinting aroundmy living room straight away as I tried to catch a glimpse of him whilst he moved around in circles.
"Is he ours? Have you bought him?"I asked Dejun loudly.
"He's ours, that's if you want him Y/N."
I knelt down as the dog approached us both, feeling his paws rest against my thighs as he pulled himself up so that my hands could tickle under his chin.
