A/N: Nowadays, my dad likes to stay in the living room, giving me no room to start walking when he knows I've been at the computer for the whole damn day. On the bright side, I least I stopped waking up at 11.

Anyway, let's get on with this story!!!

----------------------------------------

It will be Chinese New Year Eve's soon, so I cleaned up the whole house and bought a decoration for the door.

I stood on my tiptoes to reach the top of the door, but I just couldn't make it.

"Allow me."

Someone appeared behind me. It was Soobin.

(A/N: Doesn't he look cute?)

He took up the decoration gently and stuck it firmly on the door frame

He took up the decoration gently and stuck it firmly on the door frame.

"Thank you...." I thanked him.

"You're welcome." He took a step back and smiled at me, "Haven't seen you in a while. Day off today?"

"Yeah, you know, been preparing for the holidays. What about you, got any plans?" I asked.

"Nothing special. Just do what I usually do." He said this matter-of-factly, "Well, there's one difference. I won't have to go in the lab so much."

Soobin.... doesn't take off for New Year?

"That's it? Every year?" I asked.

"Yep." He said nochantly.

"Soobin." I said.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Let's spend it together this year!" I gave him a big smile.

"Do you think I'll be lonely spending the holiday by myself?" He said, a bit ataken back.

"No,well... not just lonely. Ever since my dad's been gone, I've been spending New Year alone. I'll visit my relatives as well, but most of the time, I'm alone. Still. I take the holiday quite seriously. It makes you apperciate how wonderful the world is. Life is tough, but full of hope. Having dinner on Chinese New Year's Eve with those who mean the most to you, doing traditional hliday stuff, that all matters." I said.

"So you're saying, I mean a lot to you?" He asked with a unfamiliar look.

"Yeah! Really a lot!" I nodded, feeling a little shy.

"Okay, let's spend the new year together. So.... what would you like to do? Or what do you usually do?" He asked.

"Well.... have dinner first, and um, make a wish while watching fireworks after counting down to the new year." I said.

"All right, so we'll have dinner, watch fireworks and do the countdown, okay?" He asked.

"Yes!" I agreed.
