Chapter 19 - True Love (Part 2)

Demi's Pov

Joe started driving “Thanks for tonight Joe, I really enjoyed it” I said

“No problem babe, how was your meal”

“It was lovely, how about yours?”

“Mine was great”

I had my hands on my lap and Joe reached over and placed one of his hands on top of mine, I then grabbed hold of it and held it tightly. We both didn’t say anything for the rest of the journey, we just held each other’s hand tightly, soon enough we reached my house and Joe pulled into my driveway.

We both got out of the car and Joe followed me to my front door, I turned around and stared straight into his eyes, he leaned in and kissed me deeply. I opened my front door, not breaking the kiss and we went up to my room, which briefly broke the kiss, as we came up I made sure that mom was still out; as soon as I had closed the door, I leaned in and we started kissing again.

I sat down on my bed and we kept kissing, Joe placed his hand around the back of my head and pulled me closer, I pulled away and stared into his eyes.

“Are you okay” he asked looking concerned

I leaned in and kissed him deeply, then pulled away “Does that answer your question?” but before he had a chance to answer I leaned in again and kissed him, he kissed back passionately. Joe laid down on my bed and pulled me on top not breaking the kiss. I could feel things getting deeper, Joe started to unzip my dress and I started to unbutton his shirt, I slipped off my dress and Joe did the same with his shirt, still not breaking the kiss. We briefly broke the kiss and Joe undone the button to his pants, then slipped them off.

He leaned in and kissed me again, I pulled away, then he looked at me and said “Are you okay?”

“Yeah I’m fine” I replied and leaned in a kissed him again

He pulled away and said “If you don’t want to, then we won’t”

I leaned in and kissed him again, as a way of saying yes

I laid down next to Joe, breathing hard, I turned my head to face him and just smiled, I sat up and put on my pyjamas that were laying at the bottom of the bed and Joe reached for his bag and put some pyjamas on as well.

Suddenly, a shocked expression came across his face “Demi” he said in a concerned tone.

This started getting me worried so I said “Yes”

“We didn’t use protection” he said

I suddenly started breathing even harder, panicking, I wasn’t ready to have a child; I’m only 17.

Joe’s Pov

I suddenly realised what had just happened “Demi” I said very concerned

“Yes” she replied

“We didn’t use protection”

Suddenly she started breathing even harder than she already was, she started panicking and saying things like “I’m not ready” “What are we going to do”

I pulled her into a hug and Demi continued crying hard into my chest and was breathing quickly; I pulled her in even tighter and said “Baby, it’s going to be okay” I started rubbing her back up and down and said “Please calm down Dems” I almost begged.

After about 5 minutes, she started to calm down, then suddenly took a deep breath, yawned, and then fell asleep on my chest. I stayed in that position for a while, continuing to rub her back; I didn’t want to wake her. After about 10 minutes, I stopped rubbing her back and I laid her gently down on her pillow.

I pulled the covers up from the end of the bed, got in next to her, put the covers over both of us, and then I put my arm over Demi and found one of her hands and held it tightly. I whispered into her ear “I love you”

Everything is going to be okay. Demi might not even get pregnant, I mean every time a couple has sex; the woman doesn’t always get pregnant. I mean, there is still the option of the morning after pill, but I don’t know how Demi would feel about that. But that is still an option. I know she is scared, but I will be here for her, whatever decision we decide to make, because, I love her.
