I woke up to a loud banging on my door. "LILYYY," I heard Adam's voice, "LILY, COME ON, WAKE UP," I groaned loudly and got off the couch to open the door, "ahh finally," he said, "Aghh, what'd you want?" I asked him, "I want you to go get ready," he said, walking past me and taking a seat on the couch, "what?!" "Go get ready. I'm taking you to the bar,"
I looked at him confused, "You told Boss that you'll come to work today," oh right. "And when you didn't show up, I figured that you probably took one of your night-long naps," I rolled my eyes at him, "okay, just give me 30 minutes and I'll be ready," I said walking to my room.
I jumped into the shower, then I did my make-up and hair. "Hey Adam," I called him, "yeah," he replied from the living room, "come check my outfit," I said then heard his footsteps. He knocked on my bedroom door and I opened it, "So!! What are we thinking?" I said, showing him my look.

Adam looked me up and down, "casual and cute, I like it," he said, "are you sure?" I asked and he nodded "Yes, one hundred percent. Come on, we're gonna be late," he said and walked to the front door. "Okay, I'll just grab my bag and put on some shoes."
Adam was driving us to the bar. "So, are you gonna sign for the job?" he asked while his eyes on the road, "well, I did quit my job at the library, so..." I said quietly, Adam looked at me shocked, "Really?!" he asked and I nodded my head, "yeah," he smiled and put his hand on my shoulder, "you did good," he said and I nodded my head, "thanks."
We arrived at the restaurant and got in, "hey Gary," Adam said "Hi Ad, hello Miss Lily," Gary welcomed us, "hi," I replied shyly. Then he bend slightly forward and narrowed his eyes, "are you scared of me miss Lily?" he asked kindly, I shook my head, "No, but can you please just call me Lily?" he straightened up, "Right, sorry mi- Lily, sorry it's my job's habit," he said chuckling a bit, "no, it's okay," I said quietly feeling small beside the big man.
Adam held my hand and pulled me with him, "okay dude, see you later," he said and waved his hand to Gary. He then pulled me to the bar, "you okay?" He asked, looking concerned, "feel small," I mumbled, "okay, okay, do you need anything?" He asked and I giggled, "Addy, I'm not sick," he smiled and nodded.
"You made it," a voice behind me said making me jump, "oops, I'm sorry sweetheart," Ms.Cooper said sweetly, "Is okay," I said in a small voice. She gave me a look then looked at Adam, and I looked at him too, and he gave her a tight smile and nodded, "She's okay."
Vanessa's pov:-
I suspect that Lily might be a little, but now, by just looking at her, I can tell she is. Also, Adam looks very nervous, "so sweetheart, did you sort your work at the library?" I asked and Lily looked up at me with her doe eyes, "yes," she said almost whispering, I smiled and said, "Good job," I praised her, and she blushed, so cute, "oh right Adam, they need you backstage," Adam nodded his head and walked towards the backstage.
