Not wanting to waste any of the hairspray you light the lighter and briefly hold down the nozzle to let out a large puff of fire. Jean blinks in surprise, Diluc looks at it with slight suspicion while Aether looks almost impressed. Jean and Diluc share one last look with each other, glancing at Aether for his input briefly but he just shrugs. Jean sighs.

"I guess there really shouldn't be a problem." She says with a defeated look. You pump your arms into the air in celebration. Diluc looks to you concerned at the celebration.

"Fuck yes." You shout but quickly reel your fist back as you accidentally punch the still floating forgotten crystal tear. There was silence as it travelled over the verandah and into the vineyard. However before it hit the ground it turned into anemo energy that looked very similar to the energy that Aether got when he touched the statue of the seven in the beginning of the game, however it looked more solid, like Heizou's attacks.

It hovered above the ground for a second before shooting towards the group with incredible speed. There was a shout of warning as Diluc realised what was happening but it was too late as it slammed into your chest and pushed you back into the wall of the winery.

There was ringing in your ears as you blinked away the black spots in your eyes. When the black dots disappear you look up at the people around you. Aether and Jean were beant down in front of you while Diluc and Venti stood back.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?" Jean asks, looking you up and down, searching for any injuries. You shrug with a dazed look on your face.

"My back and chest feel like they've been in a flower press." You cough and flinch, feeling winded. "But other than that I feel lighter."

Diluc raises an eyebrow and shakes his head with concern or disappointment you couldn't tell. "Well that's certainly a response to being shoved into a wall by anemo energy."

"You said you feel lighter? Like light headed?" Venti asks and you shake your head, although your ears had been ringing and there had been spots in your eyes there was surprisingly a lack of a headache.

"No, I generally feel lighter." You say lifting your arms, finding that they lifted faster than they normally do. Aether looked back at the group searching for someone to make eye contact with before looking back to you when unsuccessful.

"Can you punch me?" You blink in surprise and the group snaps their heads to Aether as he speaks.

"Wha- I'm not going to punch you!" You respond as Diluc and Jean nod in agreement but Venti realises what Aether was suggesting.

"You don't have to punch me, just the air in front of me." He explains, standing up from the group. "I want to test something."

Venti nods and moves forward to help you up. "Just focus on the air around your fist and let it swirl."

Diluc and Jean yet another look, this one a mix of questioning, doubt and realisation all in one. You take Venti's hand and stand up with the help. You were confused to say the least.

"I guess I can try?" You say with a doubtful expression. Venti nods the Diluc and Jean to stay back while Aether instructs you on how to punch correctly. Venti reminds you once again to let the air swirl around your fist before punching but you had no idea what he was on.
