Song suggestion ~~ Warrior of the Mind - EPIC the musical
"The third has a gentle but lingering fragrance, something like the dusk mist, and it's a favourite amongst mature ladies." You turn the corner as the familiar voice of Paimon echoes through your ears making them and your tail twitch. You had almost forgotten about them for a second... you really need to see Albedo to get rid of them. You would not miss doors closing on the tail.
The Statue of Seven glows brightly as Aether offers the perfume to the statue. "Oh... What was that?" Paimon asks when the glowing stops.
"I guess Rex Lapis really likes this one." Aether says as you walk up to the group.
"That one is for older ladies right? Does that mean Rex Lapis is really an old lady?" Paimon asks, confused and excited at the same time. You laugh as Zhongli chuckles with a soft smile.
"You never know, gods can choose their forms after all." You say glancing at Zhongli as Aether and Paimon turn to you.
"Hey [Y/n]!" Paimon smiles as Aether waves softly, you smile at him as Zhongli gives you a small nod of acknowledgement. "Did you finish writing the letters?" You think back to the events earlier in the day and shrug.
"Not quite. I was... Interrupted." You smile and shake your head. "So you'll be using the third perfume?" At Aether's nod you wonder if they had gotten the Cleansing bell yet. You only remember that part because you refreshed your mind on the Cleansing Bell after the beautiful cut scene at the Lanturn Rite Festival. "Have you got the Cleansing Bell yet?"
"A cleansing bell? No we haven't yet." Paimon shakes her head and turns to Zhongli. "What's the Cleansing Bell?"
"I'll need you to borrow it from a friend of mine named Madam Ping. She is the guardian of the Cleansing Bell and lives near Yujing Terrace. If you ask her, she'll know what to do." Zhongli explains to Paimon and Aether before turning to you. "I didn't know you were familiar with the old funeral rites of adepti." You just nod, trying to keep your smile from wavering.
"Oh the funerals I'm familiar with usually use a bell of some sort so I figured you'd have a fancy one for the adepti Rite of Parting." You lie, hoping you hadn't lost your ability to Gaslight, Gatekeep and Girlboss.
"Won't you be coming with us Zhongli?" Paimon asks, you could tell she was trying to get the attention off you but it wasn't working very well.
"I'm afraid I have certain reasons why I can't be there in person. I apologise, please do this for me." He says, with a decent amount of sincerity. Paimon huffs, and you swear you see Aether roll his eyes.
"Man, why has he got to be so secretive this time?" Paimon mutters to Aether and you, placing her hands on her hips. Zhongli chuckles, hearing Paimon's loud whispering and giving a small nod as he walks off.
"I will see you later, thank you for doing this for me." He says, one minute there the next he was gone, reminding you of when Moon Shaper did something similar. Aether sighs and turns to you, offering you his arm.
"Well we should probably get going then." He smiles softly as you loop your arm through his. Paimon floats slightly ahead of you as the three of you talk. You were glad he didn't ask what interrupted you from finishing the letters. It was comforting to have a friend like him.

How did you get lost?!
You were... You blink, what were you doing before getting lost? You were following Aether back to Liyue... Then you found Madam Ping who you told looked like she would have been very pretty in her youth (you were telling the truth, young Madam Ping was so pretty). Then you touched the Teapot with Aether- Oh Shit were you in the teapot? But it didn't look anything like you remember the teapot looked like. This was some randomass forest, and they didn't look like Liyue trees.
