"Venti I swear to god! Do not fall down, you do not have a glider!" You yell up to Venti who was currently on top of a very -very- tall tree. You had no idea how they managed to get this big of a tree into Mondstadt but they had. Maybe Diluc was wrong? The Knights of Favonious are somewhat efficient.

After Jean's story quest happened you let slip that the gathering reminded you of Christmas, which took a decent amount of explaining to justify the concept of "man breaks into your house to give gifts to children." But somehow Diluc could tell that talking about it made you feel homesick so somehow he convinced the group to prepare a christmas in Mondstadt. At least you think it was Diluc, the other option was Venti and you doubted he would have any ability to convince the Knights of anything unless he pulled a "I'm Barabatos" card.

Anyways you digress, since they knew nothing about the holiday you were extremely happy to help plan a week of Christmas celebration. Venti was currently trying to put decorations on the tree and decided that standing on the flimsiest branch was a good idea.

"It's fine! I can catch myself!" He yells and you sharply inhale through your nose.

"That doesn't mean I won't have a heart attack!" You yell and almost have a heart attack as Venti jumps off the tree. He did catch himself using the wind (thank goodness it was night or you would be paranoid someone saw him being godly) but then when he was close enough to you he just dropped. You dropped the almost empty box of donated decorations to catch the bard. However, said bard was heavier than you were expecting and you still had weak human arms so you fell to the ground with an oof, Venti laying across your stomach. You stayed laying on the ground for a second while you caught your breath, feeling slightly winded.

Venti bursts out laughing as he gets up offering you his hand. You take it with a roll of your eyes and brush yourself off.

"You know, for a god you are extremely irresponsible." You laugh with a shake of your head before looking up. The tree was a bit lacklustre but that was to be expected. It had a decent amount of decorations and Venti had managed to put the star on top but it felt like something was missing.

"Oh the lights!" You smack your fist into your palm and earn a confused look from Venti. "A large part of Christmas culture is lights, imagine fireflies in different colours wrapped around the tree. Disappointingly you didn't have a picture on your phone as you didn't take pictures of your previous trees or christmas lights in the area as you thought it would be a waste of space. (as if the fanart and tiktoks weren't also a waste of storage).

"Don't worry we haven't forgotten!" You turn at the cool voice to find Keaya standing with Albedo, both holding large boxes in their arms.

"It was quite the challenge you gave me." Albedo says putting down the box. "But I managed to find a way to create lights using glass and electro elemental energy." He explains as Keaya pulls out the rope with coloured lights attracted to it. He compliments Albedo and then the four of you get to work on putting the lights on the tree.

Hm... now with the lights on, this actually looked like a Christmas tree, not just some random big tree with weird ornaments hung from it. You look at it proudly and move on to help the rest of the team with decorations around the Knights' Headquarters before writing a list of who you were going to invite to the dinner party at the end of the week which meant you were also going to buy gifts for most of them, even if it was a small cheap trinket or food. This list included (in no particular order);

Venti, Diluc, Aether (+Paimon), Jean, Lisa, Keaya, Rosaria, Albedo, Sucrose, Noelle, Mona, Barabra, Bennent, Fichl, Razor, Klee, Diona and plus ones!

Fast forward to the end of the week and everyone you had invited had actually arrived. Not going to lie you were sure someone wasn't going to turn up but everyone was here talking to one another in the large hall. The hall, unlike the normal plain hall, was now decorated in various Christmas vibes, such as pine tree wreaths and tinsel.
