Desiree had spent the past month with Mark, they were together every day, after every shift Desiree had, he had even spent the night with her a few times and they both grew fond of each other and liked having each other's company. When she wasn't with Mark she was with Dawn and Neil, granted, she was a third-wheel to them, they tried to make her feel included.

Desiree scoffs and rolls her eyes, "You two wouldn't be all over each other if it wasn't for me." She complained as she put a scoop of ice cream in her mouth. Mark laughed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, "Babe, let them have their moment, they're in love." He teased as he poked her sides. Desiree flinched and laughed as she felt him poke her, "Okay, okay, fine I'll let them be, for now." She narrows her eyes at the duo across from her. Dawn laughed as she rested her head against Neil's shoulder, "Wing girl, for real." Dawn joked as she kicked Desiree under the table.

Desiree laughs and looks at the door, seeing Steve walk in with the boys as he usually does. Desiree and Eddie make eye contact and his smile slowly faded as he saw Mark press a kiss to her cheek. She weakly smiled and looked away from him, putting all of her attention onto her... whatever Mark was to her.

While for Eddie, he was sad because Desiree looked happy. Not that she didn't deserve it, but because the guy didn't deserve her. The more he looked at this guy, the more something seemed off about him. Eddie just couldn't place what it was yet. He almost seemed too perfect for Desiree. Plus, he didn't seem her type became of how feisty and witty she is.

Eddie scoffs as he sat in the booth next to Steve. Steve furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at Eddie, "You good, man?" Steve asked and Eddie ignored him, keeping his eyes on Desiree. Steve waves his hand in Eddie's face before looking in the direction of where he was looking. "What's his name? Who is he? What's his name? That guy right there." Eddie anxiously asks as he leans against Steve and points at the guy next to Desiree. Steve sighs and pushes Eddie away from him, "Personal space, dickhead." Steve complains before looking over at Desiree and rolling his eyes, "Mark Wyler." He answers and Eddie rolls his eyes and sighs. There went any chance of being with Desiree.

Steve picked up on Eddie's behavior and sighed, patting his back a few times, "Eddie, take it from me, Desiree is one girl that you do not want to be with. She's a great girlfriend, don't get me wrong," he pauses to try to find the words, "But, if there's something about Desiree that every guy should know before they date her, it's that she constantly needs to be reassured everything, and if I'm being honest, it's draining sometimes because you're going to feel as if nothing you're doing is good enough for her." Steve tells Eddie as he grabs a french fry and popped it in his mouth.

Eddie rolled his eyes, "God, you sound like a dick." Eddie insults Steve before slapping him across the head. He sighs as he shakes his head, "He's not even that great of a guy." He mumbles as he aggressively bites down on his cheeseburger. Dustin laughed as he looked over at Desiree, his smile fading the more he looked. Dustin slaps Eddie's hand and kicked Steve's foot under the table, "Guys." He says lowly as the two older boys halted at him for hurting them. Steve rolls his eyes, "What do you want, Dustin?" He groans while eating a fry. Eddie stole one of Dustin's chicken strips while he was looking off in the distance, "Henderson, hello, you there?" Eddie waves his hand in front of Dustin.

Dustin gestures his head to Desiree's booth, "Look, look, look, pay attention to what he's looking at." He informs his two friends as they all look in the direction of where he was looking. Mark was staring at another waitress, well, more like staring at her ass. Eddie felt as if steam was bursting from his ears, "Why is he looking at her like that, look at the girl he's got on his arm, but he wants to look at someone else?" Eddie angrily spoke as he aggressively ate his food, again.

Back other to the other table where Desiree laid her head on Mark's arm as she held his hand over the table. Desiree could feel someone looking at her but she brushed it off and continued to look at the perfect guy next to her. She felt he was way too perfect for him to be real, maybe he was a dream.Desiree thought it was too easy for a guy like Mark to be with a girl like her. Normally, the college jock types wanted the perfect cheerleader with the perfect body to go with it. Not the girl who is Latina, curvy, swears more than the average guy, can out-eat a competitive eater, and is normal compared to girls who like to think that how people see them is what's most important. So, it did make her wonder what did Mark see in her that made her perfect in his eyes?
